(Draught at Pivovarsky Dum, Prague, 19 July 2008) Black colour with frothy, brown head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, dark chocolate and a hint of citrussy hops. Roasted, malty taste with lots of coffee, dark bitter chocolate and a nice citussy cocoa bitterness in the finish. Fairly thin body, but dry, clean and fresh. I could drink this all evening. Lovely stuff! Ascelja (1892) - Neratovice, CZECH REPUBLIC - APR 30, 2017

Tap. Literally black with high beige head. Aroma of chocolate, pralines, soft coffee. Taste is lightly bitter. Pralines, cocoa dark chocolate, milk. Medium to full body, moderately carbonated, smooth on tongue.
Silky chocolate stout.
UPDATED: JUL 4, 2008 Draught @ the brewpub. This month new beer was Original Stout. Average creamy beige head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Pitch black color. Aroma of mild smoke, butterscotch, roasted malt, liquorish. Over the palate came bacon notes, burned malt and mild underlying dusty floral feel. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation and light dry texture. Medium bitter flavor with light sweetness. Lingering roasted bitter malty finish. Quite nice and properly the best Dum I have tasted. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUL 3, 2008

Pours almost black woth a big, staying, creamy, beige head. Nice duration. Great aroma, dry, roasted, light chocolate and subdued coffee. Light mouthfeel with low carbonation - fitting the style nicely. Flavour is powerfully roasted, pleasantly sweet chocolate to back it up. Very fresh and extremely drinkable.

(6/24/08) Draught at the brewpub in Prague. Black-colored with a brown head. Nice aroma of coffee, heavily roasted malt and some cocoa notes. Sweetish roasty flavor with coffee, caramel hints, maybe some faint fruitiness and later some roasty bitterness. Medium-bodied. A very nice Stout. fata2683 (2202) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - MAR 20, 2009
on tap at the brewery pours dark brown, tall tan head. Roasted malt and coffee nose. Roasted malt and bakers chocolate meets a dry bitter hoppy finish. Creamy mouthfeel, silky smooth. Good dry stout.
