(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, orangey brown with a neat, dense, beige head. Lightly burned malts in the aroma combined with a nutty whiff. Medium-bodied with burned malt accents, a little caramel and a fairly bitter finish. 210208 Plimmer (252) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 3, 2008
Dark brown clear body with small head. Generally not much boubles in it. Good bitter hops aftetaste. kempicus (343) - Bakewell, Derbyshire, ENGLAND - DEC 19, 2007
Disappointing beer! Pours a dark ruby brown with an appetising head and that’s about as good as it gets…..unpleasant boiled vegetables on the nose with a sharp metallic twang. Thin palate with a muddied flavour, some hops but non of the malty nuttiness i was hoping for….i tried really hard to like this but it just did nothing for me! bozoNZ (784) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - JUL 19, 2007
Rich brown with ruby red tinges. Disappointing head, just fades & dies. Malty aroma’s but a touch stale perhaps. Biscuits with sweetish malts a bit metallic in the finish and thinnish body. This style isn’t my favourite besides that I don’t find much in this beer to get too excited about. Stew41 (2104) - Phuket, THAILAND - DEC 31, 2006
Medium rocky head with good thick lacing. Clean dark brown in colour. Faint roasted malts on the nose with a slight metallic note. Note much happening palate wise; tough to pick any primary malt or hop flavours. Quite underwhelming (as it the quality of my notes!)

Deep ruby red body with a light tan head. Meaty broth aroma. Smooth mouthfeel with some cocoa, a touch of smoke and some light piney hops, light to medium body with touch of yeast as well. Lunkie (1964) - Glen Iris, AUSTRALIA - FEB 27, 2006
Grassy hop checmial aroma. Dark brwon red clear colour with good head and lacing. Malt hop chemical flavour. Flat palate. vanvenlo (1917) - Glen Iris, AUSTRALIA - FEB 12, 2006
11 Feb 06 - Light sweet roasted malt aroma. Dark brown colour, Ok head and lacing. Smokey malt and nut flavour a bit too simple. A bit thin, with some bitterness and smokey malt finish. JoeMcPhee (9591) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 2, 2005
Dark brown with a thick creamy tan head. Malty aroma brown sugar, toffee, nuttiness. Flavour is also well-balanced, chewy biscuit malt, toasted nut, a bit of spiciness and some earthy yeasty flavours. A touch of fruit on the finish. beerledgend (1196) - Waterloo, Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - APR 17, 2005
Dark amber/brown in colour with big creamy head. Roasted biscuit aroma. Weak watery coffe malt flavour.
I think too much rain water!!!!
