Back in merry olde England, the roadside inns were abuzz with banter and smiling glances from buxom barmaids - barmaids who, we might add, brewed the ale they served. In their honor, our brewers treat each batch of Dundee English-Style Ale they brew with the same love and care as the barmaids of old, combining pale and caramel malts with Columbus and Cascade hops for a malty, slightly sweet finish. Now, if only they’d stop dressing like barmaids...
Bottle. Light aroma of hops. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a thin, quickly dissipating white head. Seems to be well carbonated. Taste is sort of bland hops/malts mix. Not too sure of what to make of this beer. It’s certainly an easy drink, but the taste doesn’t stand out too much to me. Decent finish, slightly bitter. Not sure on the abv of this one.
