Back in merry olde England, the roadside inns were abuzz with banter and smiling glances from buxom barmaids - barmaids who, we might add, brewed the ale they served. In their honor, our brewers treat each batch of Dundee English-Style Ale they brew with the same love and care as the barmaids of old, combining pale and caramel malts with Columbus and Cascade hops for a malty, slightly sweet finish. Now, if only they’d stop dressing like barmaids...

AKThunder (167) - New York, USA - JAN 6, 2013
A fairly light ale that has some hop presence, but not too much where it becomes undrinkable. The bottle has a large chested English woman which may be why this is rated higher.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a slightly hazy yellow orange colored body. The mild aroma was musty. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The tasty flavor contained notes of wheat mild hops and dough. A decent one that I would consider buying again. Quaff-able!

Malty, not much flavor. Smooth and easy drinking an alternative to a adjunct lager but not much more.

Aroma of light malt. Appearance: yellow/brown more yellow on the spectrum. Taste: not much here. light malt, slight hint of some hops. Palate: very light mouthfeel. Overall: depends on what you are looking for. Easy drinking beer better than your classic lager but not as good as many beers out there.

Slightly hazy gold pour with a 1 finger, soapy white head. Aroma of bread, grain, planty grassy and slightly skunky hops. Flavor is toast, doughy bread, biscuit, dishwater, citrus, grass and a little skunk. Light vegetal notes build on the back of my tongue as I drink, cabbage-like, Light fairly neutral body with a moderate carbonation. Tastes a little off, but I’ve had worse.

travita (4993) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 6, 2012
Bottle. Clear look, golden in color, and has an ok off white head. The smell is creamed corn, caramel, hops, grass, floral, popcorn, and fruit. The taste is popcorn, malts, hops, floral, and caramel.

7/8/12. 12oz bottle. Lightly fruity aroma with some bread and caramel. Slightly fruity flavor with malt and something that reminds me of ketchup. Eh.
