12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear pale gold with minimal head. Aroma is slightly malty with a little herbal hops. Not much there. Taste is light bitter. More malty than I expected. Light bodied with a thin texture. Flat carbonation and not much of a finish. Overall, not very good. But pretty much on par for most of the Dundee beers I’ve had. 12oz bottle - pours cloudy gold with quickly diminishing white head and minimal head. Nose is the same hops used in pilsners. Flavor is caramel, champagne yeasts and a bit of honey. Taste is mildly sweet and ends a wee bit bitter. Body is medium light to medium with a thin and sticky texture. This easy to drink, but OK on flavors as in a summer brew. jb (3407) - Rochester, New York, USA - MAR 4, 2012
Toffee nose, and shockingly, more of the same in the taste, Heath bars. Pale gold, not much head, nice retention pattern. Boring and bland but inoffensive, good session beer. Ron (4183) - Rochester, New York, USA - FEB 17, 2012
Pours a hazy gold with a small white head. Aroma/flavor of sweet earthy malts and some light hops. Thin and tastes watery and lightly malted. Easy drinking. Thanks Dan for buying this 12pk and taking acouple Sam Adams in trade. rougeau13 (3188) - Richmond, Texas, USA - FEB 7, 2012
Clear pale golden amber with a fluffy but rapidly dissipating cream colored head that fades to a ring and leaves decent lacing. Aroma of toasted bread and caramel malts and a slight brush of lemon. Taste is bready and slightly sweet with a mild bitterness. Medium bodied and slight dry with a bitter finish. Not bad.

Appearance: Pours out a clear, mirthfully golden body with a finger’s worth of creamyish white foam. Fair lace deposits on the descent.

Smell: Pale malted barley with a distant breadiness with low, low hints of bruised apricots, florals, and sweet lemon. A mild aroma overall.
Taste: Faintly bready, though sufficiently sweet pale malts. Apricot jelly and a light infusion of citrus arrive simultaneously, along with a light bitterness. Lightly sweetish, fruity through the finish. As with the aroma and as one might anticipate from the aroma, there’s just not much going on here.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Not bad, no, though it failed to satisfy.
Not much going on here. Inoffensive but faint aroma and taste. At least the label is nice to look at. ccex (1365) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 16, 2012
My favorite thing about this beer is the picture of the buxom barmaid on the labeland the description on the back. 12 oz. bottle from winter sampler pack pours an almost clear amber with a very small white head. Nothing in the nose. Aroma is faint hops and grassiness. Body is too thin for my tastes. OK, it’s better than cheap macrobrews, but one of the more ordinary samplings from this widely-distributed sampler 12-pack. lawman834 (273) - Texas, USA - JAN 4, 2012
From a seasonal pack. Poured a hazy medium golden. Smell is faint and grassy. It tastes a bit better than it looks. Floral and grassy. A little sweet/honey like. Finish is diminished with a little bit of an adjunct graininess. ben4321 (6735) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JAN 3, 2012
Location: 12 oz bottle from Colonial Wine and Spirits, 1/3/12
Aroma: The nose is almost non-existent, with bread notes, grass, earth, and a hint of metal
Appearance: It pours a clear golden color with a foamy white head and mid-heavy lace
Flavor: The taste is lightly sweet with an herbal, grassy hop flavor, and a metallic twang
Palate: The body is light, it is somewhat watery, with a fairly dull feel, and a slightly metallic finish
I wasn’t really too impressed here. This one just doesn’t have a lot going on. It was just kind of lacking. This a boring beer. I don’t have too much more to add beyond that.
