Pours a thick, long lasting head. Earthy, toasted malt aromas. Some background floral and fruity notes dominated by the malt, which is backed by a solid hops bitterness. Ungstrup (37309) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 14, 2015
Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, hops, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, citrus fruits, and dusty hops, leading to a bitter finish. Ahuth (569) - Illinois, USA - JUL 25, 2015
Bottled. Nice golden brown. Nice roast nut malty tasty. Citrus hops. The label says bold. And I agree with that. Nice strong malt flavor

Better than a [insert name of crappy generic slosh here] but that’s not saying much, is it? Points in its favour are that it was light and clean, perfectly well made and perfectly balanced. To me, this is drinkable but boring, to others it’s probably heaven. Each to his own. DavidAust (273) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JUN 28, 2015
Hoppy aroma with a hint of stone fruit. Golden colour with reasonable carbonation. little haze if any - quite clear. crisp white head which lasted moderately but left good lacing all the way to the end. Taste was quite mixed with a somewhat sweet /malty start quickly over ridden my an almost salty bitterness. Palate is long with a lingering bitterness well after the drink is done. Happy with this, not my favourite but I would happily drink again or order when out.” superspak (5511) - Michigan, USA - JUN 18, 2015
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 12/9/2014. Pours lightly hazy deep orange/copper color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, caramel, honey, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/earthy hops and moderate dark/bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, caramel, honey, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Fair amount of pine/herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon/orange zest, pine, caramel, honey, toasted biscuit, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, balance, and robustness of citrus/earthy hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and fairly creamy/sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good American IPA. All around good complexity, balance, and robustness of citrus/earthy hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. This seemed to have some English style influence in flavors, but still felt like an American IPA overall. A nicely enjoyable offering. TedE (1304) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - APR 27, 2015
355 ml bottle into glass. Slight hop nose. Deep red/golden beer with solid white head. Mineral water mouthfeel. Initial malt taste is followed by sharp bitters then a lingering floral finish. It’s good. ordybill (1738) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - APR 21, 2015
