Alright, I purchased this one as part of the Dundee Summer Sampler box at the Ferguson Road Kroger - Alright, I emptied my twelve ounce bottle into a clean, clear glass and was impressed by its malty/bready aroma and dark trandparent hue. Tastewise, this one has roasted nalt, caramelike flavor, but is a bit watery on its finish. Still, it would be a fine everyday beer for those who like the nut brown style. jcweaver (768) - VA Beach, Virginia, USA - OCT 8, 2011
Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a medium beige head. Aroma is malty and roasty. Flavor is the same but with a hint of nuttiness. As usual for Dundee, watery but cheap and decent.

Pours a dark amber with a slowly diminishing head. Aroma dominated by malts as expected. Very smooth and flavorful. The hazelnut really comes through in the flavor. A nice fall ale. bnoel09 (587) - Elk Grove, California, USA - JAN 31, 2013
Poured into one of my Newcastle Geordie Schooner glasses. Mahogany brown color with a generoud tan head. Aroma is hazelnut and some earthy malt. Flavor is a bit one dimensional, but nutty with a nice level of hazelnut character. Many hazelnut browns seem to overwhelm with the hazelnut flavor, but this strikes a nice balance. Fairly smooth mouthfeel with a slightly dry finish. I rarely see any Dundee beer in my area, so I probably won’t be drinking it again, but its a decent run-of-the-mill brown. mwbrady12 (469) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUL 15, 2012
Mildly intriguing aroma and a thin brown pour leads to a mild taste and basic mouthfeel.

A brown ale with an off white head. The beer tastes like a brazilian nut coffee with just a hint of hazelnut perhaps in the background. Finishes clean naivepegasus (384) - USA - NOV 20, 2011
Pours a very clear very light brown with about a finger of head. Oats and toffee in the odor. Tastes different than I’d expect from the nose. Very watery with a little bit of bitterness that goes into a slightly almost skunky aftertaste. It’s not bad for how cheap it is, but not worth recommending. Bottle. One of the bottles from their Seasonal variety pack (though I don’t believe this one in particular is seasonal for them, but couldn’t say for sure). Has a nutty, caramel aroma - not too strong. Taste is similar with some chocolate in there as well. Slightly hoppy finish. Pretty mellow taste, definitely a decent beer. Dundee always has solid beers for a low price, gotta respect em for that! 5.3% alcohol. Parrothead (294) - Ephrata, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 3, 2011
12oz bottle. Pours a clear super dark amber with a medium tan head. Nose of toffee, malt, some hops. Decent mouthfeel, flavors of brown sugar and hops. Overall, not too bad. nittanytide (282) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 31, 2012
Poured deep copper with a foamy, white head. Faint biscuit aroma. Taste is rye bread and corn, but overall pretty watery.
