COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For thousands of years, fall has been a time of plenty ~ plenty of food and plenty of good brew, carefully crafted in anticipation of one heck of a party. If summer is exercise, bikini diets, and baking in the sun; fall is recliner Sundays, cheese in a can, and basking in the glow of a robust, flavorful brew like Dundee Oktoberfest. So in the fall, be full-bodied. After all, as much as we love bikinis, there is a lot to be said for cheerleader sweaters. 15°

hotstuff (5158) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - APR 18, 2014
Rated on 11-01-2011 (Bottle) This beer pours a small smooth fizzy ivory head that mostly diminishes, copper transparent body, fizzy carbonation observed, and virtually no lacing. The aroma is caramel malt, sweet and a suggestion of spice. The flavor mimics the aroma. The mouthfeel is light carbonation and this beer is light-medium bodied. The flavor is rather bland and lacks character and it is a beer that will not be put on my want to drink again list.

rumproasts (5359) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAR 22, 2014
bottle. Amber with small head. Caramel malt base. Light hops. Slightly below average for the style. Just seems a bit lacking in flavor.

decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - DEC 28, 2013
Orange pour with off white head and lace. Caramel malt aroma. Sweet malt with a sour like bitter. Medium body and a bit fizzy. Ok beer

Not too hoppy. Very nice oktoberfest beer which goes down smooth. I’ll be drinking more!

kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 18, 2013
Bottle Pours a rather thin and watery looking dark gold body with a caramel hue under a small fizzy white head. The nose is buttered toffee and caramel sweetness with little to no hops. The flavor is equally sweet, a bit one dimensional in that there’s not much else going on except for the caramel flavor. Devoid of hops, the finish gets a bit bland and tiring. Light to medium bodied, overly clingy, soft fizzy carbonation. Pretty bland and boring stuff.

OKplus (787) - Oklahoma, USA - MAY 14, 2013
A - Hazy dark brown with red highlights. 1 finger of light tan head S - Rich toffee/caramel malt, very sweet and sugary. T - Follows the nose with dense toffee/caramel malt. Grainy and tangy grass/straw flavors on the finish. M - Full body, slighlty chewy feel. Pretty one dimensional with the sweet malt dominating pretty much everything. But the sweetness works and I find myself wanting another one. Serving type: bottle 10-29-2011

Clear amber appearance. Slight taste of pumpkin, nuts, and spices. Nice easy drinking.

This was the first time I ever heard or seen of Dundee’s Oktoberfest so I had to give it a try. It pours a dark copper color with a thick head of foam. The scent is not very strong but it has a very full flavor that drinks very smooth. This is perhaps the best Oktoberfest I’ve had thus far. A must try!

jeremyh70 (1103) - Missouri, USA - JAN 13, 2013
Orange in color with light tan head, minimal lacing. Some caramel and slight hop aroma. Caramel and tropical fruit flavor, a little bitter. Mouthfeel is somewhat thin. Middle of the road marzen but drinkable. Had on camping trip at Wallace State Park with Chris. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
