One of the better Oktoberfests. Rich caramel flavor that is perfect for a cool autumn night. Amber/copper color and a sweet aroma with a farily clean finish. williamherbert (1540) - Syracuse, New York, USA - AUG 6, 2009
I really liked this beer....
It’s dark orange. Clear and glassy. Two thick fingers of head. Lots of big carbonation.
Initial musty burst in the aroma. After re-agitating, earthy but sweet molasses malts. Very heavy and sweet butterscotch in the nose.
The taste is sweet and sugary malts. Caramel and molasses. The yeast brings some very heavy butterscotch notes. The malts get somewhat bitter and sit on the tongue. Very good.
Feels dry but also milky. Full-bodied, like the label says. It’s a big, milky autumnal beer. Terrific. jimhilt (2609) - Bow, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 1, 2008
Pours a three-finger cream head that fades slowly leaving traces of lace. Crystal clear amber color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Caramel nose. Flavor is caramel with the hops in the background - almost but not too sweet. $1.20 for a 12oz bottle from Tully’s Beer & Wine Wells, Me. jimig (23) - , Texas, USA - SEP 22, 2008
Easy pour that is beautiful dark amber with a thin head a no lacing. Lovely malt and smooth across the tongue. Very nice, another tasty brew from the Dundee label! Lemke10 (980) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 24, 2013
This was the first time I ever heard or seen of Dundee’s Oktoberfest so I had to give it a try. It pours a dark copper color with a thick head of foam. The scent is not very strong but it has a very full flavor that drinks very smooth. This is perhaps the best Oktoberfest I’ve had thus far. A must try!

A clear, mahogany pour with a tan head. The aroma is toffee and bread with a hint of spice. The medium body has a slick texture with average carbonation. The taste is moderately sweet from start to finish. garrison (812) - Cin. city, Ohio, USA - OCT 3, 2011
Okay, thia one is caramel-autumn leaves good, a fine example of the style that I purchased at a West Chester, Ohio, Krogers. generallee08 (772) - New York, USA - JUN 12, 2014
The body has a dark amber color and good clarity. The head is off white in color and foamy but fades out quickly leaving just a ring of foam on top. The aroma has a heavy malty character with caramel and light roasted/toasted notes. Hop aroma is very mild. It has a big malty flavor that is sweet and bready with a nutty character. Hop flavor is modest and brings leafy/herbal notes and mild bitterness for some balance. Also a little metallic taste creeps into the mix. The finish is fairly quick and balanced but still a bit on the sweet side. Its carbonation is soft and the texture is smooth with a medium body.

12 ounce bottle into dimpled mug, bottled on 7/16/2014. Pours fairly crystal clear deep orange/copper color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of caramel, toast, toffee, biscuit, brown sugar, brown bread, light nuttiness, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good complexity and balance of dark/bready malt and light earthy hop notes; with decent strength. Taste of caramel, toast, toffee, biscuit, brown sugar, brown bread, light nuttiness, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light earthy herbal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, toast, toffee, biscuit, brown sugar, light nuttiness, and herbal/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Good robustness, complexity, and balance of dark/bready malt and light earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Very clean on lager flavor with minimal yeast ester notes present in taste and aromas. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth and fairly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a nice Oktoberfest style. All around good robustness, balance, and complexity of dark/bready malt and light earthy hop flavors; and very smooth to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering. nqualls (1452) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 21, 2009
