Nice smooth color but a fizzling head that quickly dissipates with no lacing at all. Aroma is mildly honey but very faint. Taste has a hint of honey but is quickly fleeting. Nothing memorable about this.

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2003 Why was this beer ever popular? It doesn't have any honey flavor whatsoever. It is not sweet. I remember back in 1996 when this beer (briefly) took NYC by storm. Never understood what made people thirst for this.

definitely will buy this again. as far as lagers go the taste is good, and the honey adds another dimension to it. on top of that it's relatively inexpensive. scores.

Good brew. Slightly sweet, but not oversweet. Nice golden amber in color with a slight head. Good stuff for being less expensive.

I bought a whole six pack of this stuff because I had never had one before. Needless to say I will never buy another one of these again. The whole sixer seemed to have an overwhelmingly sunky tase, which I did not enjoy. There are many more consistent honey lagers out there for you to try that are far superior.
