Nice smooth color but a fizzling head that quickly dissipates with no lacing at all. Aroma is mildly honey but very faint. Taste has a hint of honey but is quickly fleeting. Nothing memorable about this. austinpowers (2831) - San Francisco, California, USA - APR 23, 2002
UPDATED: MAY 13, 2003 Why was this beer ever popular? It doesn't have any honey flavor whatsoever. It is not sweet. I remember back in 1996 when this beer (briefly) took NYC by storm. Never understood what made people thirst for this. hankfrank99 (13) - USA - APR 21, 2002
definitely will buy this again. as far as lagers go the taste is good, and the honey adds another dimension to it. on top of that it's relatively inexpensive. scores. NJBeerman013 (1054) - Hamilton Twp., New Jersey, USA - APR 14, 2002
Good brew. Slightly sweet, but not oversweet. Nice golden amber in color with a slight head. Good stuff for being less expensive. MikeF (538) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - APR 6, 2002
Considering its low price - not
too bad at all............................

UPDATED: JUN 10, 2003 Definitely possesses one of the best aftertastes ive found so far. The honey is sweeeeeeet. grymy (105) - Bel Air, Maryland, USA - APR 3, 2002
good beer with a sweet after taste, cheap too, not over priced like similar beers....poor mans lager CabinBoy (4) - Louisiana, USA - MAR 26, 2002 does not count
I bought a whole six pack of this stuff because I had never had one before. Needless to say I will never buy another one of these again. The whole sixer seemed to have an overwhelmingly sunky tase, which I did not enjoy. There are many more consistent honey lagers out there for you to try that are far superior. Smells better than it tastes. Too sweet for me............................. tapIluv99 (41) - Plano, Texas, USA - MAR 23, 2002
