3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clean amber with a small tan head mostly dissipating. Nose is malt and honey. Although creamy on the palate, this is a lighter weight beer. Taste is a nice blend of malt, honey and a hint of hops on the finish. Refreshing beer that pairs well with nuts, pretzels or cheese and crackers.
12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 7/20/2017. Pours crystal clear deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head wit good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of honey, brown sugar, bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/caramel, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good complexity of dark/bready malt and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of honey, brown sugar, bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/caramel, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Very mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of honey, brown sugar, bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/caramel, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Nice robustness and complexity of dark/bready malt and light earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Minimal dryness. Very clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and slightly slick/sticky mouthfeel that is good. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this was a good Amber lager style. All around good robustness and complexity of dark/bready malt and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the very mildly bitter finish. Clean, smooth, and flavorful dark/bready malt and honey flavors. Could have definitely used more hops, but there is nothing really wrong with it. A nicely enjoyable offering, and good style example. This pours from 12oz bottle a clear medium gold with about a 1 finger head of foam. It has a little bit of lacing.
The smell is of some malt and honey but it's light.
The taste has some sweet malt and honey flavour to it but it's very bland. The mouthfeel is fairly nice and it's of medium carbonation but again, the flavours are very bland. I got this in a mixed 12 pack and I would *not* buy this by the sixer. It's just too ordinary. Give me their Pale or IPA, or their Amber Lager.

(Dundee) honey brown original lager 3/1016 Sweet with honey notes. More of a malt taste. hardly no hop notes. bland and boring. No mention of Dundee except in the fine print

Bottle at home in Salisbury. Pours clear honey-gold with a creamy, white head. Effervescent. The aroma holds lightly toasted biscuits, cereal, bread. Medium sweet flavour with a bit of sugary honey, some toffee, more lightly toasted bread, crispy cereal. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Sugary finish, with more honey, very simple bready malts, some caramel, minimal bitterness. Quite simple and sweet overall. Bricks (1150) - Delaware, USA - SEP 9, 2017
30pk for $9.99 on sale. Nice appearance, white big head.. amber color. Smell is pretty neutral.. like a sweeter macro, but not a funky or artificial sweet. Taste is not bad.. honey sweetness is definitely there, not overly malty. A little too thick for a cheap beer, but I like it.

Poured from the tap into a pint glass at the Taco Mac in Atlanta. The appearance is a clear amber color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is sweet malt and sugary honey. The taste is nice, but feels lije a processed flavor. not a bad beer at all.

Bottle into pint glass, clear brown-hued golden color with white head. Aroma notes of malty caramel, some toast and nuttiness. Taste adds some honey sweetness. Light body, moderate carbonation, tad sticky, crisp with clean sweeter finish. Honestly a pretty solid vienna, a boring caramel lager. Aggiebob (1299) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - DEC 18, 2016
Bottle. Amber color poured with a white head that dissipated fairly quickly. Malty aroma with notes of caramel and light honey. Sweet taste. ozzy70 (1283) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - NOV 16, 2016
