Part of the Seasonal Variety Pack. To undersized snifter, it pours a watery, murky dark brown with which a trim, off-white head half a finger in length stood. Tastes and smells of caramel apples, brown sugar, powdered cinnamon, and Lyle’s golden syrup. I wanted a roasted characteristic to balance this out, but, alas, my wish fell on deaf ears. Thin mouthfeel; unappealing. bagalagalaga (161) - Indiana, USA - MAY 31, 2014
Just doesn’t fit into my idea of a good stout, although it’s not bad overall. It’s just way too watery and malty sweet without enough of the roasty toasty flavors. BelgianBeerGal (4039) - Panama City, Florida, USA - MAY 19, 2014
Straight from the bottle at Vinnie’s new condo. Not a great stout. Seemed like it had some sweet and lacto notes that were out of place. Maybe some coffee and chocolate but they were muted. Meh. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - DEC 11, 2013
Bottle; very dark brown color with a lightish head. Aroma of roasted malt, toffee, and caramel. Decent flavor; some lactic elements, some sweetness, caramel with a bit of roast. Didn’t expect much, but this is not bad. AR (1000) - Georgia, USA - NOV 29, 2013
Medium light body, less than most stouts. There are light chocolate and coffee flavors that blend together nicely. It is very drinkable, but somewhat weak for a stout.

Dark burnt woods with garnet and mahogany highlights along the sides. A fluffy tan head recedes into a thin but solid layer of foam. Swirls with no lace.

Roast, burnt caramel, black chocolate followed by black chocolate covered raisins and prunes. Cocoa Pebbles and Cocoa Puffs – kind of artificially sweet. Faint cream and vanilla.
Medium light weight with a disturbingly frothy mouthfeel. Mild roasted notes in the middle with an even milder hint at some chocolate cake. Chocolate covered dark fruits along the sides. Quick hit of char in the back then nothing.
An average stout that while not a drain pour, was easily forgettable. Moving on…
Let me say that I am not usually a fan of these Dundee beers. However, this one exceeded my expectations. Yes, it is very drinkable. A very good example of a good old plain stout. Friendly without any of the ill effects of impy stout. It is so common today to ruin all the styles by trying to make them taste like IPA or impy stouts. Good job on this. Went down with enjoyable ease and had a finish that a mild stout lover would enjoy. Rrauth (1196) - North Carolina, USA - OCT 27, 2013

Appearance is medium brown head with black color. Aroma was all sweet malts. Taste was a little bit of chocolate and hints of coffee. Overall not the best stout out there. chivas72 (2) - MEXICO - OCT 5, 2013 does not count
OK stout. I prefer the Nitro based. but it is drinkable and kept me happy. or sampling it was worth it.
