Pours a dark brown color with an offwhite head leaving a little lacing. Aromas of chocolate, roased malt and a little licorice. Tastes like a watered down guiness, very watery mouth feel for a stout. Not very good. mtdewa1 (441) - rome, New York, USA - SEP 19, 2013
Light black pour, small head. Aroma is malted and a bit of chocolate. Taste is watered down chocolate milk. Very thin. Not a good stout. Cybercat (6153) - Georgia, USA - SEP 15, 2013
Strong aroma has a core of roast malt, and an odd but not off-putting fishy note. It pours a chocolate brown with a fairly thick light tan head. Flavor has roast malt and chocolate notes plus a hint of molasses and a snippet of coffee. Texture seems a bit thin for a stout, and not very fizzy. Still, an OK brew. Bottle share by Bob, aroma of chocolate, malt, little metallic. Taste is similar, very weak body, watery chocolate.

Aged in cellar for 8 months.. Weak, boring, short finish. Bad idea.. Drink fresh ! Even drinking fresh is a bad idea.. Very bland boring stout.. I guess people only buy it cause its cheap :( does Dundee even make a beer they are proud of ? beaz1591 (238) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - AUG 20, 2013
English Pint. Dark brown with a thin tan head. Minimal lacing. Odor of roasted malts and little else. Roasted malts and chocolate taste, but finishes a little bitter. wlajwl (7069) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - AUG 10, 2013
Aroma is dark malts and a hints of chocolate, earthiness and cola. The flavor is dark malts, cola, mild fruit and an acidic finish. seymour (2120) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - JUL 31, 2013
UPDATED: JUL 31, 2015 Tasted from a 12oz brown bottle into a nonic pint glass. It poured a dark brown colour with weak beige foam. Too sweet, way too caramelly, not nearly toasty or roasty enough. Medium body and carbonation, thin mouthfeel, some oxidized, soy-sauce notes in the aftertaste. I love stouts, even the cheap, mass-produced ones; this wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t a good one either. Pours a dark black with a thin tan head. The taste was a chocolate, coffee flavor. A little dry finish. Very good beer.
