ArtificialCyst (1318) - Szczecin, POLAND - APR 12, 2017
Aroma: Herbal, chamomile, heather. Appearance: Dark golden body, ok head. Taste: Albedo, chamomile, citrus, wormwood - I LOVE WORMWOOD, very long wormwood bitterness, other herbs, that bitterness makes you take another sip to neutralise it. Palate: Semi-dry finish, medium body, low carbonation.

Draught at Walters & Grapa, Rīga. Deep orange gold, with a small white head. Some ginger, hot cross bun and papaya in the aroma. Sweet taste (but not overly sweet). Reminiscent of dried cantaloupe and citrus peel. Carrot cake and more ginger in the long finish. I am not overly familiar with the style but I like this: I wasn’t sure at first but it certainly grew on me.

Seemed too bitter, but the aroma was sweet and nice. Sweetness in taste too, but overwhelming bitterness, not pleasant.

Sigmund (7834) - Tau, NORWAY - FEB 24, 2017
Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting. Brownish hazy orange colour, white head. Interesting herbal aroma of wormwood and mugworth. Flavour mid between dry and sweet, distinctly herbal and interesting, with a good bitterness.

Holmen2 (3942) - NORWAY - FEB 24, 2017
Shared bottle at RB/HD at Sigmund´s 24.02.17. Hazy pale orange. Aroma of wild herbs and sweet gale. Taste and aftertaste of bitter gin and tonic. Interesting

gunnar (9483) - Sandnes, NORWAY - FEB 24, 2017
Shared bottle at RBHD, Tau. Pours hazy deep golden with a tiny head. Aroma of herbs and spices, complex and interesting. Taste is complex, with oranges, some fitting sour notes, with a yeasty finish.

visionthing (5497) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 24, 2017
50cl bottle at Smagus Raugas, Vilnius. Pours hazy, deep amber with an off-white head. Whoa! Certainly herbal! Wormwood all the way! Herbal aroma completely dominated by wormwood. I like it, it’s strong, herbal and bold. Moderate sweet with dominating herbal flavours. Finishes surprisingly bitter. Certainly a nice one.

Unfiltered hazy deep amber color with medium off white foam. Aomas are sweet herbal with hints of light spice, sour berries such as gooseberies mixed with cherries and pepers mixed with wild herbal tea. Quite complex, a lot of childhood memories comes from this beer. Palate, medium body, with sharp bitting dryer texture leaving reasonably bitter finsih. Taste is initialy sweet but then does develop into dry herbal biterness that is very similar to dandelions bitterness also has taste of herbs, spices, wild herb tea and some pepers. Overall, love it! Does taste bitter and bring back childhood tastes and memories, (not that my childhood was bitter) but somethign I personaly do really enjoy!

larsga (7629) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 19, 2016
Small offwhite head. Hazy brown body. Nutty oily earthy aroma with herbal spicy oregano notes. Dryish oily herbal taste with fruity wormwood notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Sweetish herbal weedy wormwood aftertaste with licorice notes. Very interesting and different. Bitterness lingers. (0.33l draft at Špunka, Vilnius.)
