You know, it’s hard work to write a book. I can’t tell you how many times I really get going on an idea, then my quill breaks. Or I spill ink all over my writing tunic... GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 28, 2013
651mL at RBWG Grand Tasting. Pours a clear, deep cola. Hoppy, near Black IPA nose with spruce, pine, cocoa. Taste is gristy, rustic, oatmeal. Carbon paper palate. Not so bad though, but odd.

22 ounce bomber shared at RBWG, bought from the brewery, poured a dark black color with aromas of burnt grounds, earth, and some toast. Flavors are the same with a loght hoppiness added to it. b3shine (8878) - Indiana, USA - FEB 23, 2013
Bomber to taster at the RBWG Grand Tasting (thanks burg326). Looks good; a mostly opaque coffee color with thin off-white lacing. Smells of dark malt and roast. Tastes like it smells with a good, light mouthfeel. Enjoyable. aracauna (3609) - Georgia, USA - FEB 23, 2013
Surprisingly hoppy aroma. Light roast, but the malt is mostly lighter grains. A little corny. decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - FEB 23, 2013
Black pour with tan head. Aroma of light roasted malt and earthy hops. Really sweet start with a roasty malt bitter. Medium body and fizzy.
