On draft at Dunedin. Got this one to fill out my flight. Sort of light in body and too heavy on the malt side. Interesting but nothing I’d reach for again. decaturstevo (6253) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - JUL 31, 2012
Brown pour with a shade of red with a creamy off white head and lace. Aroma is mostly brown sugar and dates. Sweet dried fruitiness and a nice warmth. A bit of a cough syrup flavor and a medium bitter finish. Light/medium carbonation and a tad watery on the finish. brokensail (16486) - Dublin, California, USA - JUL 30, 2012
Pours a lowly carbonated amber color. Very fruity aroma with lots of banana, raisin, and plum. A touch of alcohol, bread, and maybe some metal. Flavor is a little bit bitter, but still decently sweet. Bread, toffee, molasses, bubble gum, and dark fruits. Light metal, chalk, and alcohol on the finish. jcwattsrugger (12469) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUN 25, 2012
1L bottle-pours mahogany with a dissipating light brown head. Aroma is spice, sweet medium malt-molasses, some medium/dark fruit. Taste is medium malt-chocolate/peat, some medium/dark fruit, herbal/spice hops. arminjewell (9688) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - JUN 20, 2012
Waxed 32 oz thanks to Mike! Pour is dark reddish black with thin creamy tan head, aroma has notes of dark fruit, toffee, some green bean, bread, grain, finishing with a slight biscuit. Taste is sweet caramel, dark fruit, hints of toffee, touch of some l smoke, hints of oak, finishing bitter and dry. This is complex and tasty.

Smells of banana bread. Sweet on the noise but then a bit earthy. Overall sweet dusty flavor with a slightly hoppy finish. cubs (10639) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUN 20, 2012
Waxed growler @ Dan’s house, courtesy of arminjewell. Thanks! Reddish brown appearance with a small tan head. Marshmallow, sweet/rich fruity, tangy caramel aroma. Tangy, apple/pear fruity, marshmallow, caramel/chocolate flavor. Tastes a little off. phaleslu (10333) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 6, 2012
Waxed 32 oz. growler brought back from Florida by Chris- thanks again, Chris! The growler had the name of the specific beer, not just the brewer- never seen that before. Also, the wax was killer to remove. Pours a dark amber-brown color with a tiny beige ring for a head. Aroma of raisins, banana, brown sugar, caramel, and nuts. The flavor is the same, with caramel malts, brown sugar, banana bread, nuts, and a woody note. Medium-bodied, with low carbonation and a sweet mouthfeel. Not the most on-point Scotch ale but not bad. burg326 (5488) - Florida, USA - JUN 6, 2012
Growler from brewery, top dipped in wax, poured an amber copper color, aromas of almonds, caramel, light chocolate, malt, and some toffee. Flavors are the same with a touch of fruit at the end, an some light ash. Interesting beer. hopscotch (11161) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAY 17, 2012
Growler… WPB Town Hall Meeting 2012... Mostly clear, deep, dark ale with copper highlights and a small, creamy, off-white head. Good retention. The bouquet is a luxuriant swirl of milk chocolate, toasted almonds, loads of caramel and a spot of crusted port. Medium to full-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and soft carbonation. The flavor is surprisingly well-bittered. Tannic and woody hops abound and are flanked by notes of toasted toffee and caramel. Bittersweet, mildly coarse finish. Thanks to jyoungsbcp for hauling this growler all the way back to the east coast from Dunedin!
