Cask at the Water House (JDW), Durham, 1.99/pint Pours dark amber verging on brown with a scummy white head. Nose is sharp and grassy, Taste is surprisingly sweet with caramel malts and some floral hop. Quite a pleasant bitter if a little thin. I could happily session this.

Flavour is composed of dried fruit, Berry, light toffee, apple, mineral. Nice to get the rare Irish ale tick in. Palate is semi sweet, moderate cask condition. Lingering fried fruits and nuts.

A decent Irish red with a light copper pour, light carbonation and a thin off white head. The aroma is mild and depsite a thin toasted malt, a bit of a spicy hop note theres not along going on. Easy going taste with a well balanced, lightly crisp finish. Not overly bitter.

500ml bottle pours an amber brown color with a finger off-white head that leaves some spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel and citrus with some other light fruits. Taste is a citrus hop bitterness with a fruity and caramel malty sweetness. Light to medium bodied with decent carbonation. Overall, a nice brew that tastes good and has a nice balance to it.

500ml bottle. Straight from Waterford. Hazy copper pour with a light head. Malt, caramel, and light hop flavour. Not a lot of depth to this beer.
