Bottle. Pours amber with a thick off-white head. Aroma of grassy hops, some fruitiness and yeast. Flavor is sweet and malty with some metallic notes, caramel and yeast. Medium body, average carbonation. HogTownHarry (7086) - Toronto (Harbourfront), CANADA - APR 17, 2012
February 15, 2011. Shared by garthicus with blankboy and me. 500ml bottle. Hazy copper with an average diminishing frothy off-white head. Lovely fruity aroma, yeasty and "Belgian" - smells a lot like a baked alaska, quite floral - almost 8/10! Taste is a tad harsh - apple and appleseed, young cheap chablis - green, bitter, some alcohol. Slick, astringent, weakly carbonated and light-bodied, finishes with some back-palate bitterness and dry acidity. Lovely aroma, a bit of a let-down afterward. reebtogi (6403) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 2, 2015
500ml bottle pours an amber brown color with a finger off-white head that leaves some spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel and citrus with some other light fruits. Taste is a citrus hop bitterness with a fruity and caramel malty sweetness. Light to medium bodied with decent carbonation. Overall, a nice brew that tastes good and has a nice balance to it. Bottle ala Curt. Thanks! Copper color with a few chunks adrift in the flow of bubbles. Moderate taupe colored head. Light dough and flour scents. Light caramel and a mild bitterness late. Quite fizzy and light. Very much an Irish Red, much akin to the American Amber. 5/11

some chocolate and orange peel notes. Medium bodied, chocolate, caramel, touch of astringency, cocoa and toffee in finish.
Bottle @ Bierhaus, Cork. Murky, a bit muddled, coppery-red. Bright fruity aroma is apples, pears, red plums. Hop flowers in the background. Quite a thick, lightly syrupy character. Lots of malt sugars. Lively carbo. Juicy, fruity, and good balance. Geiserich (4660) - Linz, AUSTRIA - JUN 26, 2017
Bottle as a gift from Ireland: Amber copper color, off-white creamy head. Aroma is malty, caramelic, fruity, light acid. Flavor is intensive malty, grains, bread, cake, some fruits, herbal hops. Easy drinkable and refreshing. culchiem (4237) - Berlin, GERMANY - JAN 30, 2011
Bottle. Brownish orange with a thin head. Aroma is a bit spicy with caramel malts. Flavour is very tasty, malty caramel, almost treacle with a dry tart finish. Low carbonation. goozen (4178) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - JUN 23, 2013
Bottle 0,5ltr: Clear amber coloured brew with an fruity hoppy taste with an fine caramel taste. pintbypint (3927) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 21, 2015
500ml brown bottle. Colour is orange, hazy. Lots of white head with lots of sticky lace. Aroma - caramel with citrus and floral hints. Taste - citrus, caramel, cardboard, minerals, quite dry. Light in body. Overall a decent looking brew, but falls short in flavour and finish. Disappointing. Would not drink again.
