Bottle (750 ml), shared at home. At least 1 year on it, probably more. It gushed a bit but nothing crazy. Hazy orangey with a medium white head, decent retention, leaving little lacing. Aroma is brettanomyces forward with pinot noir (much more than Cabernet Sauvignon), oak spiciness, dill, floral notes and tropical notes. Taste is oaky and tannic with load of herbal brettanomyces, dill, leathery notes, hints of tropical fruits. some spiciness and mild bitterness. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Oaky mouthfeel. Fruity finish with lots of brettanomyces. Dry. The brettanomyces now are the main feature but it’s probably quite different than what it was at first. Still, it’s a lovely complex sour with nice oak and wine features and high drinkability.

draft at FOFA, poured a murky golden shade. Decent size head and lacing. Aromas and flavor are wheat, wine, and misc sour fruit. Nice bit of acidity like most of the assemblages that were on. Ok.

Belle couleur doree avec un col resistant. Aromes de brett, fruits rouges, epices, bois, boiser. La plus interessante des 4 assemblage selon moi!

Sample from 750 ml bottle. Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Lovely aroma of brettanomyces, lemons and wine barrel. Excellent flavour too, brett notes, but not too sour. Spicy, vinous, tolerably well hopped. I want more of this!

Bottle - Funky brett, light citrus and some very light citrus. Cloudy gold with a rich creamy white head. Nice fruity sweetness, funk and light farmhouse, touch of bitterness and a very effervescent palate. Light white wine notes and a nice finish. Very nice and easy drinking, with some interesting complexity. Very nice.

(Rating #6202)

750 ml bottle from les halles de st-Jean thx Alex A: citrusy, apricot, vinous, barnyard, some leather app: clear copper white head some lacing t/p: thin body with moderate long acidic finish. Soft carbonation. O: great. Like the funk and fruitiness. Another excellent blend from Dunham. Let’s hope they continue to produce them.

Tasting at Matt’s
Cloudy golden color with medium sized compact head; a bit too murky. Nice aroma, wheat bread and light fruit, a bit vinous. Highly carbonated, fairly dry, very astringent, a bit earthy, and with moderate acidity; vinous, some Brett.
Not exceptional, but good.

750mL bottle, sent from Glouglouburp, pours a cloudy amber orange with a medium white head. Nose brings out loads of red wine barrels and brett in equal proportions -- as complex as always from these Assemblage beers. Flavour is quite funky, with brett upfront, backed by red wine barrels, a touch of oak and some earthy notes. Probably the least complex of the three so far -- much more earthy, less vinous and bretty. Still quite nice, but underwhelming given the quality of the series thus far.
