Pours a hazy orange with a huge white frothy head. Nose is full of Brett with lots of spices, citrus and horse saddle. Taste is fruity, lots of grapefruit and funk and a long lasting bitterness. Dry, Brett finish.

750 ml bottle. Pours a slightly veiled golden light orange with a short lived white head. Aroma is extremely funky, very fruity, somewhat tart and some green apples. Flavor is oranges, fruits, dust, oldish, jungle humidity. Finish is grapefruit, lemon, lime. Lingering oldish, woody, oak, fruit and bitterness. Light to medium body, average carbonation. Very good!

(Rating #6262)

bottle shared by tom10101, thanks dude! pours hazy bright golden with a creamy and reviving off-white head, leaving strong lacing. soft leathery bretts with a cherry-vinous character - peppery pinot noir perhaps; lightly buttery and spicy apricot fruity maltiness - bretty fruitiness too, other winey notes - white wine this time; new world hops - fragrant flowers, citrus but also mint and wood. lively carbonation, light body, dry bretty and astringent/bitter woody-spicy-citrusy finish. not utterly complex but a very nice bretty fruitiness - almost juicy. good stuff!

Bottle (750 ml). From Whatup14, thanks! Split with the Québec crew.

Appearance: Clear golden with a medium easy to revive white head and some lacing.

Aroma: Dusty brettanomyces along light caramel, floral notes, mild citrus, light spiciness / peppery notes and floral notes.

Taste: Dusty brettanomyces, light toasted malts, peppery notes, floral presence and mild citrus / tropical fruits. Light bitterness.

Palate: Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Dry and dusty finish. Mild lingering fruitiness.

Overall: Simple and well executed pale ale. Easy to drink. The brettanomyces play a support role here. Tasty.
