Bottle share at the 42nd floor tasting, thanks to Kenny. 5.7%. Black with a red hue, huge foamy brown head. Aroma is redcurrant, coffee, light fruits. Very nice aroma. Body is light, tingly carbonation, a little foamy. Taste is coffee, pine, twiggy with an earthy finish. Nice black IPA. Gluepot (640) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 25, 2015
A classic black IPA. The visual features a tall tan head on a near black body. The nose is very dry with coffee, cocao and a hint of hops. The taste profile is well blended, dry and classic black ipa. It has an earthy hop nip, roasted malt, fresh ground coffee and a touch of bitter chocolate. Almost no creaminess to it and a dry finish. Really well put together!
