341 ml from Bires et Dlices. Aroma: roasted malt, coffee and some tropical fruits. App: Dark brown, almost black, medium beige head, nice lacing, good retention. Taste and plate: medium creamy body, light sweetness, medium carbonation, medium high dry bitter and fruity finish. Overall: Had this one before but never had the chance to rate it so again, A great DIPA. Right on the style. Wish it smelled more fruity though. Great job Dunham.

341 mL bottle. Stout brown, with a nice, foamy, light brown head. Roast/coffee from the malt is at the forefront of the aroma, with some piney, resinous hops along for the ride. The flavour is nicely balanced as well; this is as roasty a black IPA as Ive tasted. But thats not to say that the hops fade into the background; this beer is balanced.

12oz bottle, thanks to Mathieuc for sending this! Split with alexsdad06. Very dark brown, near black color. Thin off-white kind of bubbly head, Leaves good bits of lace.. Good super-earthy hop. Spiciness. Toasty malt, kind of roasty. More ashy than coffee, but not bothersome at all. Bigger bitter taste, light sweet, more dry. Super-long earthy toasty herbal finish. Touch of dark bitter chocolate in there. Medium body. Crisp, light carbonation, drier finish. Very solid black IPA. Satisfyingly hoppy, and assertive for the low ABV. Gets even better as it warms.
