341 mL bottle, as Dunham "Cinq Up," with Gerry Cheevers’ mask on the label. Received in trade from tom10101. (Thanks again, Tommy!) Very pale, almost wit-like. Banana popsicle coloured. Small white head. Very strong (and pleasing) hops in the nose: resin, and hints of both spice and sweet citrus. Rather unique. Largely hops in the flavour, and again it’s mostly resin. Nothing from the malt. Quite bitter, but that’s okay too. An IPA that stands out in a good way like this one is difficult to do these days. sseb69 (1932) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 10, 2013
En fût à l’Autre Oeil. Couleur jaune paille, mousse blanche. Arôme de houblons frais, herbes, citrus et un peu de résine. En bouche, très fraîche, houblons, herbes, grains. Notes d’agrumes et houblons Galaxy. Finale avec une amertume qui envoute...vite la prochaine gorgée. Merci encore Dunham ! Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 7, 2013
In short: An aromatic and very flavourful blond IPA hop-bomb, excellent modern IPA example.TaktikMTL (7921) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 7, 2013
How: Tap at Brouhaha, Montreal.
The look: Cloudy blonde body topped by a small white head.
In long: Nose is highly aromatic with plenty of fresh tropical fruits and the likes. Taste has a very chewy-doughy pale malts backbone, really like eating a freshly baked baguette. An gigantinormous hops presence, tropical fruits, bitter white grapefruits, banana peels, more... Medium bitterness level, very flavourful but never aggressive. Very full body that feels nourishing but never heavy. Lots of soft bubbles, cushiony mouthfeel. This could pass as a Hill Farmstead IPA which is the new measuring stick in IPA excellence. Without a doubt one of the best IPA ever brewed in Quebec. I loved that beer, also I give high scores to Canadian beers because I rate in the metric system.
Bottle, labeled as Cinq-up. Pour is hazy golden with white head and strong lacing. Aroma of grapefruits, very piney, tropical fruits. Taste has lots of citrus, tropical fruits, pine, light sweet malts, pretty bitter, dry finish. Low-medium body and good carbonation. Wish they bottle this again!

Drank on tap (12 oz) at Brouhaha (Montreal) on IPA day 2013 (July 1). Honey orange, small head. Aroma of citrus and green hops, a little dry. Citrus taste dry, very aggressive, mega bitter hops. There are IIPA weaker that this! kbudd19 (1019) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 28, 2013
Major thanks to Tommy for picking this fresh bastard for me I might add that its so fresh they didn’t even have time to put a label on it! Yellow hazy pour with frothy white head. The aroma has a big malty backbone, and lots of pineapple. The flavour is bitter hops up front, a touch of citrus and grapefruit towards the middle, finishes crisp and bitter. Very tasty. Bottle 341ml, as "Cinq Up"
Pours hazy blond/golden with low white head. Good lacing. Aroma is of fruits (including tropical, mango), pine, sugar. Taste is of fruits (tropical), sweetness, bitterness, pine, resin. A tad heavily bitter. Palate: Ligth-medium body. "Ok" balance, but on the bitter side (wich is a bit weird, cause you can taste some residual sugar too). Overall: Pretty nice brew. Alcohol stays reasonnable, wich is good. A tad overly bitter. mathieuc (4000) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 4, 2013
Cask at Bateau de Nuit. Where do I begin? Pours a still and cloudy yellow with no real head only small bubbles from the gravity pour. Aroma is heavenly with grapefruit, soft pine needles and a little grass, west coast it is indeed! Taste is medium to highly bitter and almost bone dry. As it is from a cask there is nothing to mention about carbonation but mouthfeel was damn near perfect like a good hop juice (wish we could buy that!). Flavors are mostly pine needles and citrus rind but there is also some honey-like malts too. Great one, never had it on tap but if it is as lovely as it is on cask please seek this out!!
