3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma of malt covered by fruity notes and pine needles. The concoction itself is golden with a slight haze and a nice and persistent head. Carbonation level is nice, just right I’d say. Taste is medium bitter with a good supporting malt backbone, I’m starting to think that this bottle might be just a touch too old (it was unbalanced toward hops last time I’ve had it if my memories are right). Flavors are somewhat belgian, yeasty/estery but with floral/herbal notes taking over. Not bad per se, but of course with all IPAs you want it to be as fresh as possible and this bottle might just be a few weeks too old. Dunham pushes out great products, now they just need some BBF dates on their packages.
Acquired via trade with Chopz. Pours a huge frothy head that overwhelms the glass. Pour very gently with extreme caution :) Has a cloudy amber appearance. Leaves thick patchy lacing. Aromas of oranges, citrus and floral hops. Some Belgian yeast notes as well. Flavours are citrus hops, yeasty, some mild sweetness, light honey notes and very mild spices. Very excessive carbonation. Full bodied. Mouthcoating sensation. Pretty good, well balanced, strong finish. radiomgb (2838) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 21, 2016
341ml bottle. Copper in colour with a very long and long lasting white head, excellent lacing. The aroma is quite hoppy, tropical fruits, some citrus, earthy, yeasty. The flavour is more belgian then IPA, yeasty and earthy, citrus, light spice. Bitter mouthfeel, medium body, high carbonation. Finishes long, hoppy and bitter. More towards a Belgian Ale then an IPA but I can’t complain about that. Very nice, good bitterness and balance. Reimer96 (1778) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 22, 2016
Solid Belgian yeast Aroma with citrus hops and big grapefruit flavor. That flavor is mixed well with the spicy Belgian yeast... Overall great balance and easy to drink. mrol (342) - - MAY 13, 2015
Dark yellow body and a white creamy head on top. Hoppy IPA aroma. Flavour is smooth IPA malts with an average level of bitterness. Well crafted IPA .light hoppy bitternes packers188 (62) - - FEB 15, 2015

Rating #1081 - May 11, 2014 - Bottle from CBI. 6.5% Killer lemon-lime fruit, hoppy nose erupting from this foaming hazy amber pour. Sharp hoppy overtones of citrusy, fruity hops with a pleasant yeasty kick. A hop forward, yeasty IPA, but not without doughy, pastry shop malty undertones. Fantastic. 750ml bottle shared with Parksy, Grippitis and others. Hazy gold, lively off white head. Fairly muted palate with lightly spicy yeast and floral/citric hops, kind of low-key all around. Not a bad beer, but nothing stood out for me. glennmastrange (2921) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - AUG 13, 2014
Bottle. Light note of grain for the malt, moderate lemon for the hops, and horse blanket and musty for the yeast, with hints of pepper, cardboard and vinegar. Head is average size, fizzy/frothy, slightly off-white with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is slightly hazy medium amber. Flavor starts moderately to heavily acidic, then finishes lightly to moderately acidic and lightly bitter. Palate is medium, watery with a fizzy carbonation and a tart and dry finish. A nice IPA with a lighter side of Belgian influence on it.
