Bottle (750 ml) at home, split 3-ways. Slow gusher. Hazy amber with a medium easy to revive creamy off-white head leaving some lacing. Aroma is of soft raspberries, fleshy brettanomyces, winey (more red wine than white wine but I think I get both barrels contribution), mineral/earthy notes and mild smokey tea presence. Taste is gently tart with plenty of leathery brettanomyces, light raspberries presence, winey notes, medium mineral/earthy presence, smoked tea and mild meaty notes. Medium body. Lively carbonation. Mineral and leathery brettanomyces finish. There’s plenty of interesting flavors in this one but it lacks cohesion a bit. The brettanomyces helps creating common ground for every flavor in there but it’s not enough. Drinkability is rather good nonetheless.

UPDATED: MAR 19, 2016 Orange/red pour, thumb sized head. Misty Roma, raspberry, wood, funk, pear. Fruity up front, raspberry cherry, bandage funk, wood, drying mouthfeel. A lot going on here, almost too much to really pinpoint this one.

My Bottom Line:
Raspberries dominate this blended brew, creating tartness work against earth and wooden dryness.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the murky pale red.
-The fruitiness is more than just raspberries, but the other varieties evoked are a tad muddled.
-Drinkability is high due to the acidity, soft bubbling and dryness.
-The flavor rendering is a tad unrefined for Dunham.

Bottle.

Sweet! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750ml bottle from Dunham bottle release shared with wife... Well she tried it :) Thanks Ben for grabbing. Aroma: intense acidity from the raspberries, vanilla, hay. App: hazy copper-reddish, small white head. Taste and palate: medium body, vinous,, light sweetness, really fruity, soft carbonation, light acidity and bitter finish. Overall: I thought the smell was a bit overwhelming at first, but we get used to it and then every smell is a great pleasure. In mouth, it’s delightful. Quite complex. Hard to describe everything that’s going on. It could be more carbonated but overall this is great assemblage! Can’t wait to taste my other bottle, that one will be shared with friends :) Oh yes, this is my 500th ratings! A great beer for the occasion.

Bottle @ RBSG 2015. Thanks Ferris. Orange in color with a white head. Has some sweet fruits, spicy, charred oak, and a slight smoke on the nose. A bit of acidic white wine and sourdough bread/yeastiness as well. Perhaps a touch of peat on the tongue, sort of a soapy, smokey, plastic thing to it. Somewhat light in terms of the acidity and sourness...just a touch of grape and fruit. Kind of musty, spicy, and grassy. Odd beer.

Bottle - Sweet wheat notes, dirty, peaty. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Peated wheat with some stone fruit. Odd and slightly tart funkiness. This mixture is just not pleasant to me.
