750mL bottle, pours a cloudy amber with a small white head. Aroma smells like disinfectant and detergent. Flavour is disgusting - a total lacto bomb gone wrong. Nothing but detergent and disinfectant. Gross.

A pinkish burgundy ale with a thin white head. In aroma, beautiful cherry drops with creamy and sour notes, lactic notes, refreshing. In mouth, a smooth cherry malt with raspberry pits, creamy character, smooth and quaffable. On tap at Bières et Saveurs 2013.

On tap at BarVolo, day after funk/Swanze day. Pink colour. Cherry flavour like a fruit beer. Very decent.

2013-09-14. Hazy bright red-pink body with a giant foamy light pink head. Aroma of cherries, and very light yeast character. Flavour is refreshingly sour, moderate cherry character throughout, with dry grainy undertones. Averageg bodied palate, light carbonation. Okay. Suprisingly delicate, but enjoyable. On tap at Volo Funk Night 2013, Toronto

[5792-20130914] Tap. Rhubarby cherry danish filling aroma. Hazy, bright red body with a quick foamy light pink head. Fruity soured cherry skins flavour. Medium body is fairly sour. Good. (7/3/8/4/15) 3.7

Sour but crisp cherry dominates this. Pours red translucent without much head or lacing. Average carbonation, palate pretty light here - a bit of a soda water feel. Surprisingly no sweetness here - finishes with light sour cherry and crisp malt.

on tap at chambly festival. hazy bright red with a nice pink head, some retention and lacing. sweetish and ripened black cherries, nice citric/lactic profile, winey, almost zinfandel-like acidity and fruitiness, also raspberries, bit of dust and cheese. lively to average carbonation, light body, very nice dry herbal and lightly acidic finish. for what it is, meaning not a kriek, it is pretty solid.

(Rating #6201)

Bottle: Poured a clear reddish color ale with a nice large foamy head with medium retention and not much lacing. Aroma of fresh sweet cherry notes with light residual sugar notes was quite enticing. Taste is mostly dominated by sweet cherry notes with some light tart notes and faint dry Brett notes are also perceptible. Body is about average with good carbonation. I really enjoyed the cherry notes and the balance between the residual sugar notes and the tart notes.

On tap @ Vices & Versa (Montréal). Clear bright pinkish-red with a small white head. Aroma of sweet cherries, light acidic and lactic presence along with dusty notes. Taste is slightly sweet with sweet cherries, light acidic presence, dusty notes and herbal presence. Medium body. Light to moderate carbonation. Slightly sirupy mouthfeel. The name is really misleading, but this is an interesting Fruit Beer. The sour mash give this an interesting twist.
