At Ratebeer Best. Pours cloudy gold with a tiny white head and a citrus aroma. There is a hearty pale malt flavor with a dry slightly bitter finish.

Wierd funky. Rather extreme bretty character and funk, not so good for me. Tea and then hops. Some colour to a medium yellow. Thanks Bram. So-so drinkability, I am glad this is a share. i would not cook with this.

Bottle. Cloudy, tan, not much head. Orangey, Earl Grey nose with both bergamot and tea tannins. Intense, lots of bitterness, some tannic notes, orangey flavours - but no guava. Yeasty, bitter finish, maybe a touch of brett. This is more complex than the regular (which I had recently on tap) but I wouldn’t pin down the red wine barrel. It’s more of a je ne sais quoi type of thing. Very good.

pours hazy light golden, pink hue, with a small but nice off-white cap offering some retention and small creamy lacing. lots of vinous notes - obvious red wine with a pinot noir mineral acidity; letheary bretts, perfumey bergamot, lemon/citrus oïl, fruity marzipan golden maltiness, salt. moderate carbonation, light body - oily; aggressively bitter/tannic spicy-resinous finish. tasty red wine yet its overly bitter/tannic/astringent components dominate. i enjoy a lot more regular leo.

Bottle, from SlovakSniper-- thanks Pat! Hazy medium orange gold, lively white head. Interesting funk and floral perfume (lavender?) character, more dry than bitter. Very cool twist on the base beer.

Bottle shared by Mike. It pours a hazy orange color with a white head. The aroma has some nice red wine notes and noticeable, soft brett. The hops are floral and pretty strong and meld surprisingly well with the intense wine character. Nice levels of funk with minor phenols. Bitterness is medium to strong. Good one.

Bottle thanks to Youri! Pours hazy orange, small white head, good lacing. Aroma is certianly full of Brett notes, musty basements, clean and lacking that distracting cheese quality of some strains. Vinous, red wine notes prominent, oak tannins, caramel malts. Flavor is light tart, medium funk, light residual bitterness. Medium body. Pretty tasty.

341ml bottle from Dunham release. Aroma: great barnyard, spices, red fruits mix. Red wine feel. App: Hazy light copper, minimal white head but with ok retention and small lacing. Taste and palate: light to medium body, soft carbonation, vinous, medium bitter finish. Overall: like it much better than the first bottle I’ve had. Different mood, different temperature, beer matured a bit more? Don’t know but feel like it’s way better. Could drink this quite often. Think that the non-brett white wine version is more memorable a bit than this version but this is still pretty good. Great job Dunham.

Bretts pures. Veuillez patientez pendant que je vide mon verre: «If you got Funk, you got style».
