500ml bottle conditioned, at home on 16th Feb 2015. BBE of Feb 2015, poured into a UK pint sleeve. Slightly misty golden body, on top a white foam blanket. Fruity and semi-sweet in nature both aroma and taste wise. Good bite to the brew, the 7.2% ABV helps of course and the alcohol suits the beer nicely. One of the best Dunham Massey beers I have had so far (out of 15). undercurrent25 (2142) - Barnton, Cheshire, ENGLAND - APR 21, 2013
Pours a golden colour, taste is yeasty, a strange hybrid between and English and Belgian ale, good Hanoi (951) - Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - MAR 13, 2013
Aroma is sugar, banana and apricot, the yeast is quite pronounced. Hazy golden colour. Taste is of brown sugar, banana, a hint of soft fruits, greek honey and with a bitter finish.
It’s a slightly underwhelming beer, it’s not bad but Belgian styles beers are ten a penny at the moment, and this does not stake it’s territory clearly enough. leaparsons (10546) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 30, 2012
Bottle. Hazy yellow gold with a bubbly foam. Aromas are brown sugar, wheat, caramel and banana. Spiced apple with spritzy yeast and traces of mint. Lemon with mixed tropical fruit with floral notes. Flavours are sweet candy and brown sugar with mixed tropical fruit. Wheat with lemon and lots of floral, spicy notes. Pretty good. mike_77 (6661) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - FEB 12, 2012
Bottle 500ml - Massive light soapy head. Hazy pale blond colour. Flavour is quite sweet. Has a typical banana sweetness of a Belgian Tripel. Also a hint of zesty hop.
