COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle - 341ml. Hazy blond body with a decent white foamy head. Aroma is slightly dominated by maltiness. It carries hoppy and grassy hints. Its fresh malty/hoppy taste carries grapefruit notes and ends with a decent bitter/herbal finish. Well done.

LilBeerDoctor (4128) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 23, 2013
On cask at V&V. Pours a clear light orange with a thick white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, banana, citrus hops, flowery hops, light fruits. Flavor of light fruits, tropical fruits, bready malt with a very bitter finish. Aroma is a little better than the flavor, which is a bit more bitter, but overall it is very good. 9/4/8/4/14 (3.9/5)

bartlebier (4108) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - FEB 27, 2015
[email protected] Mondialnachlese III, Feb ’15. Soapy white grape and citrus, a soggy mix transporting the yeast profile into the nose. Taste is also strangely wheaty: fluffy wheat proteins, Wit-like on a flowery dry palate. Interesting québécois/francospheric take on an APA.

Spab (4002) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 3, 2011
341 ml bottle from La Barik (6% ABV). Pours a hazy golden yellow with modest-sized white head. Aroma is citrus (largely orange) and floral. Flavour is also quite hoppy with juicy orange/lemon, floral and piney notes. Moderate bitterness in somewhat dry finish. Solid APA.

mathieuc (4000) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 22, 2015
Pours a hazy golden with a thin white head that leaves good lacing. Nose is of citrus and grass. Taste is bitter to a medium-high level and pretty dry. Flavors are of light caramel and cereals with fruits and a spicy finish. Bitterness lingers for quite a while. Body is medium and carbonation on the lower side, making for a oily mouthfeel. Overall a good beer but I just wish it had more hoppy aromas and flavors.

probstblueribbon (3791) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 31, 2010
341 ml bottle from Depanneur Peluso, served cool in a tulip glass.

App.: Hazy deep golden with some floaties and a large slightly off-white foam. Aroma: Bright, fruity, piney, green and peppery, some nice spicy fruit cake-like malts, caramel, citrus notes, very nice. Palate: Medium+ body, fairly lively effervescence. Flav.: Tons of pine and grapefruit, nicely supported by crunchy caramel malts, sweet and bitter, spicy, a touch fruity, a wonderfully crafted ode to hops; dry with aggressive bitterness that lasts well into the peppery pine/resin finish with just enough malt.

A beautiful, Canadian-made example of the style. A bit less sweet and malty than some versions, which is a plus. Félicitations!

pintbypint (3763) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 15, 2014
341ml brown bottle. Unfiltered golden appearance - some floaties, topped with a long lasting creamy white foam. Tons of lacing. Nose has caramel, earth and floral and citrus hops. Taste has bitter citrus hops, floral notes, caramel malt base. Grapefruity finish, good bitterness, long aftertaste. Medium bodied and well carbonated. An awesome aggressive APA, would be easy to drink 6 of these at a party or BBQ.
