Bottle. Slightly hazy golden with a medium off white foamy head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, citrus, clementine, apricot, very nice fresh hops smell, pale malt, moderate alcohol. Flavor is grapefruit, tangerine, oily citrusy and a bit of piny hops, pale malt, moderate residual sugar, bitter finish and aftertaste. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Very well done! bedainedebiere (536) - Terrebonne, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 5, 2011
Bottle. Dangerously drinkable hop bomb, with a rarely-tasted-in-Québec grapefruit peel crazily intense taste. Some fruity sour notes seem to emerge from the malt; shy hints of sweetness quickly appear at first but are immediately attacked but the aggressive resinous, citrusy and tongue-bruising hoppiness. Interesting extreme ale, well done, and a great addition to Québec’s beer offering. beerbuzzmontreal (3487) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 17, 2011
UPDATED: MAY 1, 2011 Cloudy golden pour with a thick white head. Solid aroma of citrusy and slightly resinous hops, there’s a mild malt presence too. In the mouth, the hops provide a sturdy citrusy/resinous one-two punch, there’s a shy malt presence and bitterness in the end. The body is medium and oily while the carbonation is medium. At 6.5% abv, this is a bit strong for a pale ale, but it provides a very satisfying hop fix and it’s definitely easy to drink. Great work indeed. In short: A crisp, dry and grapefruity blonde IPA. Superb session beer.rodenbach99 (4572) - Longueuil, Quebec, CANADA - APR 17, 2011
How: Tap at Vices & Versa, Montreal
The look: cloudy golden yellow body topped by a persistent small off-white head
In long: Nose is citrusy hops (mostly white grapefruit) with some grassy notes. Taste packs just enough of crisp cereals, low sweetness sensation, a tiny bit of honey, a whole lot of citrusy hops (still mostly grapefruity), lemony citric notes. Finish is medium bitter and medium dry. This is exactly my type of drink-by-the-gallons summer IPA. Such a superb session beer and yet there was that dude at the pub who was sitting there not drinking anything. Oh my God!!! Only one explanation!!! It has started!!! Humanoid cyborgs are walking among us and are taking over.

Pours a pale, golden orange color with a discrete head. A lovely citrusy and flowery aroma, which boosts promises, that are fufilled by a finely bitter taste balanced with grapefruit and blood orange hints. A very refreshing brew Savvy1982 (1706) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 26, 2012
Bottle at home, from my Minneapolis Town Hall glass. Thanks Dany!!! Pours hazy gold, thick white head, lacing is above-average. Nose is clean grain, with light sour cream notes, along with tropical fruit, persimmon, grapefruit, pineapple, spice, and lemon, really pretty nose! Flavours of soapy hops, persimmon, pineapple, grapefruit, and lemon rind. Spice and cream in the finish. Really nice, but a touch overly bitter for an APA. Pours hazy yellow with a thick white head. Smells very nice very strong hops . The Amarillo really comes through in the aroma, as well as the cascade. Tastes nice very citrus and bitter. Lots of grapefruit. Very fresh and crisp. Great brew. XaenDovet (1282) - British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 15, 2012
Pint at Bateau de Nuit. Hazy yellow gold. Meringue-like cap. Huge floral and citrus burst of taste. A mix of grapefruit bitterness and sweet citrus. Maybe pomegranate bitter? Aroma is more floral and citrus forward. Lemon lime. Muted pine. Some fresh cut grass in there too. Perfect dry finish.
