COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Tap. Moderate malt aromas of grain and caramel, heavy pine and perfume for the hops, light soap for the yeast, with a hint of peach in the background. Head is small, frothy, white with excellent lacing and good legs and mostly diminishing. Color is sparkling clear light amber. Flavor starts moderately sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a lively carbonation and a tart finish. Well balanced and well rounded IPA. I could drink lots of this.

Dunham Pale Ale Americaine 5.5% Served in a dimpled mug. It pours a copper orange pour with a big fluffy off-white head, soapy lacing and a great juicy tropical fruit hop bouquet that is right up my alley. Wonderful full body that is quite smooth with a crisp bitter hop finish. The taste is piney resin, dank, fruity goodness. It is a top knotch us-style pale ale.

Bottle @JB. Complex fruity nose, with pepper notes. Strong hoppy taste, with a dry mouth.

[5896-20131005] Cask. Fragrant orange and tangerine hops aroma. Clear, orange brown body with a quick bubbly white head. Bitter orange peel and tangerine toast flavour. Medium body is fairly bitter. Very nice. (8/3/8/4/15) 3.8

Pours a hazy orange with a quickly disappearing white head. Citrus and tropical fruit aromas with some floral hops. Taste is intense tropical fruits with citrus, grapefruit, passion fruit and mango. Amazingly juicy and almost a bit soapy. Long lingering pine bitterness. Great APA!

Draught at Vices et Versa. Pours a very slightly hazy yellow-gold, quite bubbly, and with an average size lasting off-white head. Nice hoppy and fruity aroma. Flavour’s nice and hoppy, fruity, refreshing even. Long, dry bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. Great stuff.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2012 Creamy puffy head over a pale gold body. FOGGY LOOK Aromas of light citrus zing countering sweetness. Taste replays aroma with deeper fruit and slight acidity and some peach. Very smooth and warm feel from alcohol. One of the few times I got samples, this would be well worth a 12oz. A 750 BOTTLE PURCHASED WAS INCREDIBLE ALSO. - friday, october 22, 2010 - 341 ml bottle is really tasty, beautiful hops - DEC 2012.

Drank on tap (20 oz) at Vices et Versa (under the place’s name), on April 21, 2011. Misty blonde, medium head. Light hop aroma of citrus, a little dry. Hoppy bitter taste of grapefruit, hints of sweet citrus, good bitterness. A good APA with bite!
