Hazy dark amber color, creamy head. When you manage to punch so much rye character in a beer, you are doing something good; bready and grainy, with that nice earthy character of good Bitters.
Very good, original, very well made.
Fast klare orangebraune Farbe, große gelbliche Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, schön hopfig, bitter, würzig. Geschmack sehr hopfig, reife Früchte, trocken, würzig, hohe Malzigkeit. mcberko (17853) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 26, 2017
On tap at Darby’s Gastown, pours a hazy chestnut brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings lots of bready malt, toasted caramel, and a touch of earthiness. Flavour brings out earthy notes, bready malt and toasted caramel. It’s a bit jumbled. Nothing very special, but it’s pretty solid. Decent. Hazy, this has a little earthy, toasty character that has quite a bit of rye. That part I like but it’s a bit yeasty.
