750 ml bottle purchased at La Saucisserie BAM (La Saucisserie Ste-Rose) in Laval (Quebec) on May 7, 2013. Blonde straw, average head. Aroma of spicy and dry herbs, with notes of citrus wheat. Taste very dry wheat, sour citrus notes, very bitter herbs. Good summer beer!

750 mL bottle. Bought @ NLC. Im not the biggest saison fan - I think I dont mind this because its not the craziest saison.

Tap sample at Birreria Volo. Light golden-amber with large off-white foam, head retention excellent. Moderate sweet farmhouse aroma, citric, perhaps apricots and... I cant tell. Good. Tastes dry, fruity, clean and fresh. Carbonation zingy but not too active nor big-bubbled. Compared with Saison du Pinacle its obviously a lesser one but its still very fine.

750ml capped bottle pours a hazy golden orange color with 2 fingers of white head with good retention settling to leave some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus with some tropical fruit and herbal notes. Taste is a fruity and malty sweetness with a herbal bitterness, a light lemon tartness and a spicy yeast finish. Medium bodied with abundant carbonation that pleases the palate. Overall, a very nice brew that suits the style well, being not overdone with a nice balance in body and flavour. Recommended.

Bottle at hotel in Geisfeld. Cloudy orange gold colour lasting white head. Hoppy aroma grapefruit. Lots of tropical fruit. Some saison character but mostly its mango passionfruit juice. A little dirty funk on aroma and flavour. Good.
