GoufCustom (2174) - HONG KONG - OCT 11, 2017

500 ml bottle bought at Authenic Cider's booth during Beertopia 2017 in Harbour Front, Central.

Looks:Clear pale golden Less than one-quarter finger head with residual soapy white foam which fades in 5 seconds; Almost no lacing with fizzy slight carbonation.

Aroma: Fragrant apple wine, with strong tartness, sandalwood, apple flesh, wood barrels, alcohol, sugar and fair tannin.

Taste: Very light sweet apple wine, with very strong yogurt tartness, strong alcohol, apple flesh and peels, liquorices, barrels and strong tannic.

Body: Light body. Watery palate.

Mouth Feel: srumpy-level, low sweet with very strong yoghurty tartness and booze. Moderate dryness with fairly tasty apple and peels. Strong tannin to round. Very good!

After Taste: Fairly dry. Tart and boozy to mouth.

Comments: This is a Scrumpy pretty much right on target - strong yoghurt tartness, right amount of dryniss, boozy with fleshy apples. If only it has more sweetness to balance the tart and bitter characters. A nice strong Cider thats' well worth the money!

Bottled. Golden colour with a minor white head. Aroma is sweet apples, mild wooden notes, some slight sourish notes as well. Flavour is sweet apples, some slight tart apples and also some mild sour wooden notes. Nicely dry and somewhat tartish sweet finish, making it an easy quaffer.

500ml bottle - thanks martjoobolut
Lovely Old-Rosie-light aroma, sharp crisp apple. Light palate, bit of fizzy carbonation. Pale and clear. no head worth mentioning. Taste is acidic apple, some yeasty aspects, very dry. No real alcohol signs, and drinkability pretty scary.

Bottle shared by Mart, thanks! Pale golden cider, almost no head. Nose is musty, apple peel, dryness, slight dust. Flavor is tart, sweet, balanced, crisp, apple peel. Tart and apple peel-y finish. Crisp and dry mouthfeel, carbonation tad aggressive, very drinkable.

500ml bottle from the Cyderstore online. Pale yellow gold colour, short-lived white foam head and aroma of apple, barnyard, abit eggy. Taste is sour apple, funk, woody, rubber, with some tannins. Light to medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tangy woody tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

Countbeer (6599) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - OCT 21, 2014
Bottle: Served in a taster: Some bubbles that disappear quick. Almost clear as in watery but with a apple drink tint colored cider. Aroma of apple skin with some and fermented dusty apples. Dry and light tart with some dusty apples, fermented apples and apple skin/peel with a light (strange) bitterness and wood... Quite refeshing. Nice dry and sour tint. I like this stuff!

Bottle from Hay Wines, Ledbury, Herefordshire. Straw colour. Light haze. Fresh, bittersweet apple. A little brown sugar. Some lavender type flora. Taste is off dry. Has a light, smoky character. Soft, slightly thin palate. No booze until the finish. Tart, dry close. Decent. Unusual.
