UPDATED: MAR 18, 2018 500ml bottle - thanks Marduk! (6:3-:6-:2:11=2.8--)
Pleasant perry aroma, some fruit, some estery vapours. Taste is a bit solventy, but not in a way that makes me fear for my eyesight. Nice tart bite, but the palate's a bit fizzy (super-fizzy (with a sound/noise score of 4), which is a shame because I would have really enjoyed this without all that carbonation. -anna) and watery. One of the more drinkable ones this evening.

500ml bottle. Slightly hazy pale yellow color. No head. Sweet, caramel, pears in aroma. Sweet, pears, leather, bit of farmhouse in taste. Fruity and pears in aftertaste. Thin carbonation. Solid brew.

Aroma is pears and mildly funky/bandaid. The flavor is pears, slight bandaid, fruit and a tart/sweet finish.

500 ml bottle bought at Just Green in SoHo, Central.

Looks: Translucent pale pear juice colour; Near zero head with residual soapy white foam which fades in 5 seconds; No lacing with active carbonation.

Aroma: Fragrant and very sweet pear wine, with strong yoghurt tartness, strong alcohol, sandalwood, funk, nice pear flesh, strong floral, strong sugar and strong tannic.

Taste: Medium sweet pear wine, with very strong yoghurt tartness, alcohol, strong liquorices, pear flesh, funk, sugar, fair wood barrel and tannin.

Body: Light body. Quite slick palate.

Mouth Feel: Strong and fleshy pear wine with very well balanced strong sweetness and strong yoghurt tartness, touched by nice funky wood barrel throughout. Quite boozy with strong liquorices and fair tannin for a chop-licking medium bitter finish. Very nice!

After Taste: Fairly dry. Sweet, boozy funky and bitter to mouth.

Comments: This one is strong in aroma and taste - fruity peary, sweet, tart, boozy and woody - with the funky character an unexpected bonus. More than a match for my favourite Marks & Spencer Pear Cider, this is sweet strong cider at its best. Recommended!

Bottle sample at In De Wildeman during Carnival Brettanomyces 2016. Amsterdam, The Netherlands. 24.06.2016. Taste with Ogi and Aart. Thanks Gene. Pour it hazy yellow color with no head. Aroma pear, some elderflower on the back. Taste sweet, floral, pears, bitter just a pinch, maybe not the right time to taste this one but it’s ok.

500 ml. bottle shared by Travlr @ In De Wildeman during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2016! Thank you sir! Very pale golden, few thin streams of bubbles rising & no head. Nose is mellow sweetish pear, low sweet pear, sweet but not heavily so. Taste is low mineral, touch sulfur-like note, basic sweet pear, not very expressive. Low fine carbonation, sweet but not extremely so. About okay.
