COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bons Vœux (Good Wishes) is a blond high fermentation beer , re-fermented in the bottle. Founded in 1970 , this beer was offered earlier this year to the most loyal customers of our brewery ( hence the name "With the best wishes of the brewery Dupont "). The success this beer earned lead to it being made commercially, while retaining its original name. Although very popular, it was brewed in limited quantities, the bottles reserved many months in advance. A coppery blond beer with aromas of hops for the Bon Voeux is a beer tasting combining mellow bitterness and fruity. Our selection of yeasts and a long maturation phase with hopping gives it flavor and a characteristic and complex taste. The true fermentation in the bottle , which can be extended very long in your cellar, resulting in a balanced and harmonious beer, surprising and complex aromas .

Appearance: Hazy amber with 3 finger thick white head. Aroma: Brett, leather, earthy, bandaid, barnyard, peppery, fruity. Taste: Medium/high sourness, medium bitterness and low sweetness. Palate: Thick grainy texture, light/medium body, average carbonation, savoury (baked bean?), bitter, sour, malty finish. Comments: Lovely and glass lace. Probably not for everyone though.

On draft. Fantastic malt and yeast aroma as soon as you get near the glass. This is "balanced" in the sense that the big malt sweetness, hop bitterness, and yeast spiciness are all nicely in proportion to each other. Delicious, elegant beer.

0,375l bottle. Hazy orange colour with quickly shrinking huge soapy white head. Aroma: Floral and candy sugar with matured cheesey notes from the yeast. Taste: Sweet start with a serious and surprisingly bitter mouthfeel for the style. Has some fruity tone too and a light champagne-like caracter. Elegant beer. The alcohol is well hidden. Medium/full body with fizzy carbonation. Long, very pleasent finish. A sophisticated tripel with a bitter tone and without big surprises.

375ml bottle from LCBO. 9.5% alc./vol. Pours an opaque deep gold colour with one finger of white head that reduces into a ring. Aromas of hops, bread, and some citrus and banana. Taste matches the aroma with a dry and hoppy finish. Medium bodied with high carbonation. Mildly creamy mouthfeel.
