COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Biere de Miel is bottle conditioned and contains only water, barley and wheat, honey, hops and yeast. It has a marvelously delicate scent of honey, balnaced by a dry palate, resulting in a beer that is both estery and refreshing.

Disclaimer: Both the normal and the organic (biologique) version.

Om tap at Stadin Panimobaari , Helsinki. Pours clear Golden with a small creamy white head. Aroma of spicy caramel, yeast and weak hops. Taste is light sweet marmelade, nice dry finish, with pepper and honey.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2016 Bottle at home. Deep yellow colour, good white head. Nose is sweet, malty, flowery, but not hoppy with light sourness. Taste is medium sweetness. Nice little dessertbeer.

Bue en bouteile. Blonde trouble. Très rafraichissante, houblon correct. Miel très discret, créé une rondeur sympa. pas sucrée. Bulle légère. Chouette produit.

Tap at Moeder Fontaines. Relatively strongly raw worty aroma and taste. Also rather sweetish. Honey is low if any. Very very thin. Not exactly great.

Clear golden pour with finger pillow of lasting white head. Looks pretty. Aroma is both sweet honey and sour funk excellently balanced Tastes follow similarly with a bit of citrus in the mix, more malt than was discernible from the nose, and it’s just really tasty. Finish is neither cloying nor dry - maybe a little bubbly for my liking. Very well done.

BB backlog, Bottle, pours a lightly hazy golden color with medium sized white head. Smell is lemongrass, honey, earth, and dry malt. Flavor is most of the same. Body is light to medium.

Bottle from Brewtopia. Near copper with slight haze with lasting head. Honey floral herbal aroma. Honey peaches in syrup sweetness with hints of vanilla and medium assertive herbal lingering bitterness. Medium body a little stick and a touch sticky. One of the few active beers that I haven’t tried from one of my favorite breweries, but yuck -- not my style of saison. Not light or lively or soft or peppery. Oh well.

Sweet delicious bouquet on the nose. Hazy gold with little flakes of sediment floatin. Somewhat plain ale. Fruity lots interesting yeast flavors after a bit. Hard to place but complex even if it’s light, mellow and easy to drink.

Grote fles gekocht bij de kluis in Achel. Troebel oranje kleur, mooie kraag. Ruikt naar mout, hop, honing. Smaakt licht zoetig met een biterzoete afdronk. Niet onder de indruk.
