Flaske 750ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Delt med gode venner på Nerstranda 24 Feb 18. Lys gylden. Litt uklar. Filmskum. Stikkende krydderaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken preget av blomster. Lett tørr ettersmak.

Many thanks to Finn for sharing a 750ml bottle with friends at his place. Hazy golden body, a ring of bubbles to the rim of the surface, dotted spots on the glass. Saison fruity smell, spiced. Mid-sweet fruity flavours spiced with clove and coriander and added by herbal dryness. Mid-dry fruity ending. Soft in the mouth. Fine bodied. Quite pleasing. (Tromsø 24.02.2018).

Backlog entry 750ml bottle thank to Sam. Pours out a copper color topped with a big fluffy white head. Nose is spice fruit Esters clove pepper light malts. Taste is more of the clove spice some pepper a little bit of lemon peel and a dry end.

750ml Bottle drunk on 17/7/2017. Date on the back says 02/2016 - not sure if that is bottle date or BB. Anyways, smells great, like all other Dupont beers Ive tried. Definitely get that house yeast straightaway, and a bit of malty, home brew aromas. Pours a deep golden, orange with a thin head that quickly disappears. Doesnt look the best to be honest. Taste is spicy, hay, herbal, with a boozey note at the end. Reasonably bitter on the palate but I found most the flavour to fade straight after sipping. Quite a nice beer but Im not sure that I would choose this again over a regular Saison Dupont.

Pours hazy bright gold with frothy white head. Long head retention, some lacing. Spicy, citrusy, cardamon nose, some subtle tart notes. Medium body, average carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is citrusy, spicy, cardamon, little tart notes. A spicy blonde ale. Good.

Cirka 1984 vintage... ciderish whiskyish in the nose. So alive still. Estery taste, apples for days, clay.. ja tak!

Bottle from the LCBO. Purchased in April 2013, "best before" Dec 2014, opened in April 2017. Pours a nice copper-hued golden colour with a small white head that leaves a touch of lace. Aroma of slightly fermented fruit, light caramel, a touch of spice & herbs (chamomile, cardamon, anise). Flavour is quite sweet and fruity up front - hints of peach and ice wine - drying out a bit in the middle where some tart grape and clove start to come through, and looping back towards sweetness in the finish, with notes of orange candy. A bit of booze warmth in the back as well. Interesting stuff - I’d like to try a fresher bottle sometime to see how it compares.
