Theydon_Bois (19200) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 8, 2013
Bottle - Leightons shout split with he and Bruce in J98 LLY on the turn back you muppet the road is definately closed ’mini tasting’, 23/03/13. Clear pale blonde with a thin white head. Nose carries cereal notes, grass, grain, faint hops, touch of citrus. Taste comprises grain, cereal, grassy, light herbal notes, lemon rind. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, crisp, dry and light bitterness in the finish. Ok.

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2015 Bottle with expiration date 3/2013 (was drunk on April 3th). Shared with Mathieu87. Appearance: clear blonde beer, unstable head. Nose: malts, some hops. Taste: some metal taste, grain. Didn’t really enjoy this pilsener, but could be because of the expiration, I hope to try a new one soon. Re-rate APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, nice stable white head. NOSE: dirt, dishwater, earth, oxidated hops. TASTE: bad, earthy, oxidated. Drank at S&G big pilsener tasting, blindly comparing 24 pilseners. Taste for most pilseners was the same, some grains, bit hoppy, quite malty and mostly bit metallic.

Draft cloudy yellow. Nose crisp with malt. Flavor clean and crisp, followed by decent bitterness.

Location: Draft at Ginger Man (NYC), 1/19/13, Palindromic Rating # 2772!

Aroma: The nose is light, clean and enjoyable, with some floral hops and crystal malts notes too
Appearance: It pours a clear orange color with a small head and some light lace-work
Flavor: The taste has a good, crisp hop flavor to it, with a nice, clean malt presence as well
Palate: The body is fairly light, it has a clean and smooth feel, with a soft carbonation
Overall Impression: I thought this was a nice example of a Pils. It is crisp and clean with a nice drinkability. There isn’t a ton more to say here, it’s a fairly simple beer that just hits on what I’m looking for in the style.

Draught @ nuetnigenough, Brussels. Rated on 18.07.2010
Aroma has grainy malt, grassy hops and some bready malt. Flavour has butter, grainy malt, grassy hops and some distant yeasty notes. Slightly sticky palate. Quite refreshing and ”German” for a Belgian pilsener.

Parket (586) - Bruges, BELGIUM - NOV 14, 2012
Bottle, from drankencentrale rotsaert.. Poored with very small head. Some lacing but overal very poor looks. Smell like a pils should be, taste: very average but not bad at all. I like the idea that a goot brewery like ’dupont’ makes some pils. It’s decent, I wouldn’t say no to that beer on a hot summer day. But it’s nothing compared with the saison dupont!

Countbeer (6592) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - NOV 2, 2012
Bottle: Medium sized vast white head on top of an almost clear yellow colored beer. Smell sweet unbalanced grains, like corn, nasty malts, cardboard, puke, glue and old herbs. Taste is soft but also nasty: rotten fruit, malts, old hops, some malts and plant ish hops, light bitterness and a slight hint of iron. Aftertaste tends to go to nasty bitter with some plant ish hops, malts and some herbal (fruit) tones.. Low cabo, soft (light spicy) mouthfeel, low to medium body, light creamy texture. I hope I had a wrong bottle because Dupont is high on my list. But I am happy they make better saison than pils... Though thought they had the brewspirit to brew a good pils a well.

swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - AUG 23, 2012
draft at Blue Monk, lighter golden pour, grassy aroma with fruity Belgian yeastiness. grassiness in the flavor along with noble hops, semi sweet finish, minerally. Decent

rejtable (2626) - Ontario, CANADA - AUG 14, 2012
Really enjoyed this one. Tap from Three Penny Taproom. Lots of doughy yeast, and some almost butter notes. Nice pils bite as well. Mouth was creamy with medium carbonation.

cpetrone84 (1810) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 23, 2012
Pour is a pale yellow and perfectly transparent with a tight pure white head. The nose is light but refrehing. Pilsner grain up front, a touch doughy, light spice with stale bread and a hint of lemon. Herbal hop behind. Taste is more grainy than the nose, the dough seems more toasted bread now mid palate, the finish is herbal and lightly bitter. The body is very light and refreshing with lower carbonation and a clean crisp finish. Easy drinking.
