I thought this was pretty tasty. And I start color, this have some dark chocolate notes to it that are pretty enjoyable. Smooth to drink ads135 (4933) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - AUG 26, 2015
An okay dark lager. Smooth with mild roasty qualities. Dark brown appearance and some light coffee at the end. Tried at the brewery. Niko100 (2985) - Chicago, New York, USA - JUL 19, 2015
Dark brown color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of toasted malt, caramel, hops, & chocolate; Flavor of slight roasted sweet malt, caramel, hops, and some chocolate; Actually, not too bad. slowrunner77 (12594) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 29, 2014
"a nice simple dark lager. lacking in complexity but rather tasty in it’s lightly roasted malt flavors and aroma. little hopping to speak of, light bodied, and slightly chocolatey."

12 oz bottle from Evergreen Discount. Brown/black with a tan head and light lacing. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, roast, caramel, toffee, sweet malts and earthy hops. Sweet flavor with light bitterness. Light to medium body, pretty easy to drink. cthomas2390 (228) - Colorado, USA - JUN 9, 2013
Pours black/brown with little head. Muted malty aroma. Malty and roasty notes finish with a residual hop bitterness that isn’t quite the lager standard of ’crisp’. Lays on your tongue for a bit. Medium body and carbonation and pretty well balanced. Good beer that doesn’t quite fit the ’Vienna lager’ label. Headbanger (4020) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - MAR 9, 2013
12oz bottle 3/9/13 (Binny’s Naperville Singles Rack)-42° in Mug-Pours a clear dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate and malt. Taste of the same with more chocolate and roasted malt. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and quite tasty. Nice job. drjay44 (3801) - Salida, Colorado, USA - FEB 15, 2013
draft. Pours a medium, well retained, ivory head, with extensive lacing, over a clear dark brown (SRM 30) body.....nose is light cocoa, light cereal, hints of coffee.....taste is light cereal, cocoa, hints of coffee, finishing with light bitterness......mouth feel light of medium, carbonation adds a large tingle, and slight creaminess. This meets the style, and is surprisingly aromatic and flavorful given the low standards for an American Dark Lager. BJCP 7/3/1/4/4/7 Imaena (2328) - Maputo, MOZAMBIQUE - FEB 3, 2013
Bottle in Durango. This is a pretty bland and cloudy ADL. Not a beer I would pick up again.
