500ml Bottle. Cloudy orange pour with an off-white head. Malty, fruity aroma, hints of honey, oranges, lavender with a noticeable whiff of alcohol. Flavour has some hops, citrus, toffee, marmalade and spice. Combination of sweet and bitter on the palate with a fairly long finish. Kind of like a barley wine, this is refreshing and easy drinking, maybe not as well crafted as some other Durham beers but well worth a go. anders37 (27898) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JUL 18, 2009

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a very cloudy orangey golden with a small off-white head. Sweetish fruity nose with a whiff of citrus. Quite full-bodied, sweetish fruity and somewhat spicy. Fairly bitter finish. 050109 bacchanalia (146) - milton, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - JAN 15, 2009
From the bottle, a glorius golden brown colour. Nice malt & floral hop nose. The palate is full & the beer has quite some power as you would expect from a beer of this strength but still retains a nice bitterness. Tremendously complex flavours, slight sweetness, honeysuckle & fruit in the mid palate then loads of floral dry hops on the finish. The top belgian breweries would be proud of this, even my wife liked it. yespr (49173) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JAN 5, 2009
