UPDATED: SEP 25, 2015 Sampled from a bottle from the brewery. Amber colour with a thick, foaming white head. Aromas of candyfloss, bubblegum, orange and spices. The taste is of heavy malts, alcohol, coriander, and hay-like hops. Quite a lot of sweetness, pronounced bitterness and lots of booze; but the whole thing does not really come together, perhaps because it is lacking the citrusy notes expected from the yeast. A good beer, but not, I’m afraid, great. danlo (3471) - Darlington, Durham, ENGLAND - NOV 11, 2014
500ml bottle from the Cheese & Wine Shop, Darlington. Deep orange amber colour, lively off-white foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of fragrant juicy orange, tropical fruity. Flavour is sweet malty, candy, orange peel, tropical fruit, hop resin, yeast notes. Smooth mouthfeel, medium to full bodied, fine carbonation, dry earthy slightly boozy finish. Very drinkable. spacecube (1822) - Leeds, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 8, 2014
500ml bottle, pours black with a small off white head, aroma, roasted caramel, burnt, dried fruit, plum, raisin, medium sweetness, medium bitterness, full body, thick palate, with oily & creamy texture, good flavours and nice balance for a 10% beer, carbonation is soft but not flat. Bottle. Pours near amber in color with an off-white head. Orange marmalade, bit of spicyness and sweet almonds in aroma. Orange peel, yeasty spicyness and sweet fruityness in taste at first. Feels quite smooth. Malty notes with tropical fruits, sweet pear and lemony notes towards the finish.

Head: firm off-white foam. Colour: clear, golden (with a touch of pink when pouring). Aroma: flowery hops and malt. Taste: medium bitter-sweet. Palate: mouthfull, medium bitter with a sweet finish, lively CO2. Overall: interesting, nice.
Bottle shared with Joes and Dutchdrebus @ weekly tasting. Slightly unclear orange color, medium sized off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, a bit off imo, herbs, I get a hint of peat and something weird. Taste malts, plants, some alcohol, leaves, something weird again, it’s something sweetish and sweaty at the same time. Meh, not my thing. DutchDrebus (6401) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - JUN 5, 2014

Lightly hazed golden amber with a good sized off white head.
Nose is dark stoned fruits, ripe orange, spice, caramel, bubblegum, mandarin, peach, candyfloss.
Taste comprises dark fruit rinds, citric peel, bitter orange, spice, toffee, candied orange peel.
Medium + body, fine carbonation, drying close.
Solid enough offering for the style. Nocturne (2238) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - APR 11, 2014
500ml bottle. Gusher! Pours orange with a patchy head. Aroma of bread, lemon, orange, candi sugar, floral, herbs. Loads of stuff going on here. Taste is candied citrus, banana, hint of floral elements. Sadly a step down in taste from the aroma. Just seems rougher and less rounded, not like the best Belgian examples. Despite that a pretty solid effort.
