Bottle, courtesy of Lakshmi on Fathers Day. Light gold colour, pale for an English IPA. Lightly bready malts, some spicy hop, yeasty bite, moderate bitterness that builds rather than bludgeons. Booze under wraps, quite dry finish. Not bad effort at a style I like, although for me could have taken a bit more sweet malt and more hop. WaddlingPlatypus (186) - Durham, ENGLAND - APR 17, 2017
500ml bottle. Clear pale gold, finely bubbled with a thin and frothy white head. Slight wheat on the nose, along with a touch of aluminium and cider apples. Faint alcoholic hoppiness on the nose, with fading old wheat. Bready finish that lingers in the mouth. s_hartshorne (2784) - wakefield, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 28, 2017

Cool, and into a pint tulip. Hazy, pastel amber gold with a loose and fluffy white crown that lasts the length. Herbaceous, almost vinous nose. Rough, floral, herbal with underlying hints of honey, plum and toasted malt. This one would last the seas; bitter and raw with a whole garden of mixed floral notes. Assertively bitter, rough and lasting on the palate. Medium to light body with moderate carbonation. Mild hints of honey and diacetyl balance the weighty greenery of the hops. Like nanna’s garden has been foraged and deemed edible.I think this one is green as in one for storing, Right now, I just loved the rawness of those English hops. Goldings in there purest. A bitter ale but it drinks well. Had me hooked. IPA back in the day!!! (50cL, BBE 07/17, The Liquor Shed, Jandakot) redders1974 (1472) - Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - MAY 28, 2016
Underwhelmed with this one golden lasting head big bozzy hit sime medicinal notes no big flavours coming through ok. Hippoman (646) - Durham, ENGLAND - FEB 28, 2016
Bottle from the brewery.
Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with a frothy white head and the smallest touch of carbonation. The nose is full of unexpected and interesting medicinal, herbal and clove character. The taste opens very bitter and stays that way into a long finish but there are some slightly sweeter wheat beer type flavours present too. On the whole it’s overly dry for my liking - verging on astringent - while its flavours fail to mask its overt, boozy strength. Expected better.
