A Mes rate. Cask at the Marble Arch Inn. Clean gold with a good white head and excellent condition. Sod it, it’s a four. Lively fresh citric hoppage, very clean and tasty. Hugely refreshing. Dry bitter citrus in the finish. Excellent session stuff from Durham as expected.

Comments: Yeasty, dry and almost estery ale with a tight herbal, chives-like tartness and parsley vegetal undertones. Durham is so good with the very pale and citric golden ales that I ended up wishing this was one.

Cask (handpulled) at the Old Moot Hall, Nottingham. I got more of a gold thing going on here, wafts of hops, rather robust citric flavour and a sparkling gold body. Excellent all round.
