Evensong is a rich ruby coloured 20C English bitter. Based on an original recipe from 1937 this beer captures the flavour of its time. Goldings and Fuggles hops combine with darker malts to give a traditional English character.

Bottle conditioned. A deep red beer with a huge light brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of both fruit and nuts. The flavor is sweet malty again with notes of fruit, but also caramel and a light note of flowers from the hops, before a quite bitter end sets in.

Bottled (BC)@Bishops Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is quite bitter fruity and floral. Flavour is fruits, some floral notes, mild yeasty and sweet maltyness as well. Rather carbonated, but otherwise smooth and nice. Some rather vegetably notes start to show once it warms up a bit.

Clear dark brown - red - amber beer. Small pale cream coloured head. Palate is light, airy and slightly crisp. Smooth malt wit a little light airy cream. - semi dry. A whisper of something dark in the malt. Light citric hops, touch of piney lemon. Lactose malt in the semi dry finish. Not bad.

Bottle conditioned at Cockneys Pub, rhus
Dark amber to chestnut color, with a thin head. The aroma is maybe too simple. The flavor is solid, a straight Bitter, with strong caramel flavor and strong bitterness; maybe not exciting, but back to basics.
