Draught at C’est What?, Toronto, Canada on 10th June 2008. Exquisitely hoppy, pleasant mouthfeel and bitter aftertaste. In the style of an American Pale Ale, again compares well with Dark Star APA. frankenkitty (2014) - Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA - JUL 13, 2007
Served with a bright copper body, weakly headed in white. Citrusy PNWs in the aroma without a lot of "oomph". Dry rye bitters become more pronounced late. Flavor shows more bitterness with rindy citrus and a pepper bite followed by a sweet malted wash, then finishing long with more pepper. Dry with a long-lingering aftertaste. A nice IPA, but a few steps below some of your favorites.

<font size=-4>Draught pint at <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/Places/ShowPlace.asp? Joe, Toronto, ON, CAN</font>
On tap at C’est what? Copper liquid is topped with a frothy beige cap. The aroma is heavy citric hops(mostly grapefruit)with some pine, followed by bready, cookie dough and caramel. Taste is bright cirtus rind hops, fresh leafy greens and pine with some butterscotch and caramel sweetness. This is quite dry and chalky, and finishes bitter and and tasty. I wish it was available near me! tomthompson89 (1983) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 22, 2007
UPDATED: SEP 29, 2007 again nice amber orange colour, First time i had it it was amazing, wonderful hop aroma, nice citrus flavour and some maltiness, but as it has evolved it has lost its nice citrus aroma and tends to be more bitter and malty, hope it goes back to the original recipe. Draft at Volo at the suggestion of hogtownharry. Beautiful clear, medium amber with a beige head and good lacing. Nice balanced malt and hop aroma, light brown sugar and caramel notes, english style dusty, herbal hops. Sweet caramel maltiness up front, fading to a bold hoppiness, lots of floral and herbal dusty flavors. Medium body and gentle carbonation. My favorite of the Ontario IPA’s on this day.

Flavor is sweet and floral with notes of grapefruit, light citrus, pine, caramel, honey, light spice. Generally medium body with a pleasing hoppy finish. Cask Ale Pint enjoyed at the venerable Victory Cafe by Honest Ed’s, Toronto! Darkish coppery robe and nondescript aroma of hoppy-ish something and sweetish malt. Carbonation and fresh feel is somewhat pleasing but the hops are not individually expressive in the taste and the malts don’t tie in well. A somewhat jangly, un-integrated pint. But okay. Work in progress? User29624 (1687) - - APR 12, 2009
On tap @ Beer Bistro in Toronto. Pours clear copper with white head. Nice citrus and pine nose. Great taste though, nice bitter finish. I love the tap handle. Bendrixian (1514) - Canadiana, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 15, 2011

<!-- b -->Cask.<!-- /b --> Cloudy amber w/ small ring of of tan foam. Fresh, citrusy, piny hop aroma w/ notes of caramel & toffee. Thick, chewy feel. Big hoppy flavour but well-supported w/ lots of sweet malt. Finish was bitter & dry, but also mildly green & leafy w/ notes of tobacco & tea.
