sampled @ bierBistro in Toronto. Nice hoppy aroma in a caramel colour. Well balanced, and a little punchy, with pine hops and citrus squeezes. Yum! This place, btw, kick ass. TonyDiUlio (679) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 7, 2010
Tasted this beer while on Beer Quest 2010 with the guys. This was beer number 78. Pour was dark amber. Aroma is aggressive with alcohol and hops. Flavor is a bit strange and a little too harsh. dirkules (629) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 27, 2006
Draught - Volo - Had just been infused with MORE HOPS the day I had it. Absolutely delicious. Nice Resiny taste with a touch of caramel on the nose. Smooth golden pour, no head whatsoever. Delicious! VeloVampire (625) - Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 20, 2006
UPDATED: AUG 19, 2009 On tap at the Victory Cafe - came a clear copper colour with a foamy head that was gone pretty quickly. Aroma very nice, citrus hoppiness with a good amount of malt, also I picked up a touch of yeast/bread. Flavour mainly hoppy, grapefruit and lemon, but with some earthiness or woodiness along with a refreshing bitterness in the finish that was very pleasant and balancing - many of the brewery’s beers have this similar taste and it is something that I really enjoy. Great character in this one, and a solid local IPA. Bottle it. Update - tried this again tonight and realized this is one of the best IPAs on offer in Ontario right now. If they bottled this, it would have a general listing in my fridge. Slacks (615) - Bolton, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 26, 2006
Draught @ beerbistro: Another honest IPA from an Ontario brewer? Huzzah! Pours a great copper with a removable head. Aroma of hops, pine, and some citrus; excellent! The flavour is top notch with a burst of hops that makes way for a melange of flavours including roasted malts alongside the citrus and pine I found in the scent. Heavy on the hops, as I’d hoped, but quite well balanced with the more subtle supporting flavours. Loved it.

on tap at volo--- pours golden red copper color with pinky sized white head. Smells piney hops, some fruits long lasting bitter flavor relatively smooth,, starts piney with a touch of citrus and bitter flavor sets in very well balanced, and very nice lacing. On tap at Smokeless Joe’s, Toronto. Deep gold, bordering on brown; zero head retention. Woody hop-forward aroma packs a good punch, seconded by accents of malt, caramel and berry fruit. Wonderful big-hop flavour provides full-on bitterness throughout, with a nice fruity blackberry infusion and smooth caramel ice cream palate. An excellent big-flavoured beer that has enough complexity to be more than a one-riff wonder. yarry (528) - Waterdown, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 9, 2008
Pint at Volo
A coppery brown beer a lacy head. It smells very much of floral and citrus hop notes. The taste is very hoppy, crisp and clean with a very nice dry finish. If you love hops, as I do, this beer is stellar! It somewhat reminds me of Anchor Brewings Liberty Ale Beer Snob (501) - Ontario, CANADA - NOV 3, 2006
On tap at C’est What.
Jeez, I like everything I’ve tasted from this brewery. Have been craving a good IPA, and this quenched it nicely.
Nice pile of hops cut with a touch of malt. A hint of citrus and a wonderful bitter tang left behind in the mouth.

Pours a copper reddish color with a small white head. Floral hops nose with some grapefruit. Stong hoppy finish. A little watery mouthfeel . Excellent for people who wants to try IPA.
