Cask at GBBF 2011. Clear yellow coloured with a small white head. Fruity aroma of hay, grass and hops. Fruity flavour of grass and hops with notes of hay. Hoppy finish.

GBBF 2011. Cask. Very light pale yellow colour. Nose is a bit of citrous, bit of bread. Taste is citrous and bit of green hops. Very light and watery in the mouth. As light as golden ales come.

500 ml bottle conditioned, at the Durham Cathedral & Cloister Restaurant. ABV is 3.8%. Pale golden colour, moderate white head. Lovely aroma of fruity hops (citrus and tropical fruits). Distinctly hoppy flavour, notes of citrus and tropical fruits, good bitterness.

Cask at GBBF 2010, 5th Aug 2010. Light gold colour. Nose is a bit soapy and lemony but also has good dry, dusty hop notes. Tastes similar and is a drinkable enough golden session ale.
