St. Cuthburt pours a sparkly, bright orange copperish body with a foamy off white head. Lovely carbonation with some spotty lacing and a overly unimpressive head. The nose is fruity and lightly hopped with a light breasdy malt and a fuzzy peach esque note. A hint of white sugar and light citrus. The taste is sweet and lightly malted with an overly fruity taste. Very subtle notes of lemon, grass, wheat, apricot and peach. Nothing in the taste compares to the nose. A nice, crisp finish with a light hop. St. Cuthbert has a medium body with some soft carbonation and a light subtle aftertaste of bitter hops. This is an okay brew, but nothing comparable to an IPA. The peachy sweet taste is lovely, but it is missing all the bitterness and hop character. markas101 (2487) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - DEC 24, 2011
50 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK via The Dram Shop. Kicking of the Xmas beer countdown. Pours a hazy deep gold apricot. Caramel, cereal grain and lemon zest aroma. Creamy, honey sweet then a orange rind bitterness builds at the end. Quite nice. TheCametron (2480) - CZECH REPUBLIC - MAR 11, 2012

Good quality malt aroma. hazy copper colour with a thin head and lace. Aroma has fruity hints. Astringent flavour with bitter malt. Almost Belgian like in style. Bitter hop with subtle fruits, tangy finish. TheGrandMaster (2335) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - SEP 21, 2008
Bottle (in NZ), pours a crystal clear amber with a large pillowy white head. Caramal note on the nose, slightly medicinal, with peppery hops. Plenty of alcohol on the palate, along with those peppery hops. Hops dominate the malt in fact, with just a hint of toffee in the background. The finish is short, though well bittered. ration (2261) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 28, 2012

Bottle, Ale Cellar, Darlington. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a decent rocky head. Fruity hop aroma with some yeast. Flavour had the same elements and was fragrant and sweetish. Hoppy bitter finish. Good balance. Very nice indeed. davidm (2081) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - MAR 20, 2011
Bottle 500ml. Great beer. Aromas of grain, caramel, and notes of citrus and alcohol. Taste starts sweet, with bitterness taking over for a long finish. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Amber, with a thin head.
