Our interpretation of an India Pale Ale. Not too bitter with extra aroma hops for interest.

Bottle. Dark hazy amber. Lasting white head and a bit of lace. Thick body. Flavour is herbal, floral and earthy at the same time. A nicer English style IPA than usual.

Bottle. Mitchells Wines, Sheffield. Gold, with a little haze. Film of sticky, white head. Nose has orange hop. Vanilla malts. Flora. Some grassy notes. Hint of peppery spice. Taste is fruity, spicy bitter. Quite zesty and pithy. Some stickiness. Soft, oily palate. Light fizz. Finishes fruity, spicy bitter. Old school. Nice one.

Very pale ale (almost orange) with a malted hopped aroma. The flavour is citirc and bitterly hopped with a malt edge. A very pleasant beer indeed.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Clear gold, no head. This struck me as more of a Golden than a IPA. Hops are more backgroundish, rather than being the main feature. Smooth, easy drinking yes, but in this case easy drining means that the tongue is not stunned by overt hop content. Certainly pleasant, but not a show stopper.

Bardzo dobre IPA ale specjalne, mocniejsze. Tresciwe i gozkie. Chmiele tu goruja, zwlaszcza zatecki daje goryczke na sporym poziomie. Piana spora i wysoka, a przy tym trwala. Metnosc dosc spora co cieszy w brytyjskich piwach bo to jest rzadkoscia.

Lighter, copper color with lots of head out of the bottle. Again a metallic edge--what's with Durham and this metallic flavor? The water? Carbonation gives a frothy body, somewhat oily but not hugely. Nutty, slightly acidic, citric, strong bitterness, long finish. Smoother with the yeast poured from the bottle. Sweet-dry thing going on, dry dominating the finish.
